Arts & Crafts, Tuesday Afternoon, Main Campfire

As the campers arrived, they would find a tall, athletic blond man in a polo shirt and khakis presiding over picnic tables covered with crafting supplies.

"Good afternoon, everyone," Steve began. "I'm Mr. Rogers--no, not that Mr. Rogers, the other Mr. Rogers--and I'll be in charge of this workshop. We're going to have a lot of fun I hope.

"So, to get started, this week we're going to make gremlins." Steve was oblivious to any horrified twitching this comment might have engendered among his students. He was really new at this. "All the necessary supplies and instruction sheets are already on the table, so...get to it. You can work together if you want to, but please remember the glue and paint are for your projects, not each other. I'll be right over here out of the line of fire if you need any help or have any questions."

"I was thinking more along the lines of glitter-quicksand," Carmela says. "But maybe I could make another wee gremlin who rescues him and then of course the rescued gremlin has to repay the favour!"

Charlie giggled, and spread her gremlin's hands out wide so it could pound on the glass jar. "Coooool. Buffy told me what glitter does to guys around here. Only fair if it works on gremlins too."

"Well, there have to be boy gremlins," Carmela says. "Otherwise how would you get little baby gremlins? Unless they reproduce by budding or something."

"Which I suppose they totally could," Charlie said, reaching for the glitter to sprinkle on her gremlin. It had a wild-eyed, kind of stoned look to it which made her wonder if glitter made gremlins high. She grinned. "It's a cute mascot, though. How did they pick it?"

"I think it may have something to do with the fact that there are *actual* gremlins that live on school grounds," Carmela admits. "Though whether they're there because the mascot is a gremlin, or the mascot is a gremlin because they're there, is another question entirely."

"Seriously? Awwww! They're so cute! How do you find them?" Evie put more glitter on the head of her gremlin, and then attached paper eyelashes. It looked like it was really tripping now. "Can we keep one at the cabin?"
