fandomhigh | Fandom High Graduation Ceremony Class of 2007 Part I

The sun was shining high in the sky above the front lawn (not that this would matter to certain members of the audience since there was a nice awning and shaded pathways). A stage was set up with a podium and several seats for the administration and guests. Off to the side of the stage, a guitar for musical performances.

In front of the stage, blue and gold chairs were set for the largest graduating class in Fandom High history (not that it was a tough record to achieve), and to either side of those chairs were bleachers for students, family, friends, alumni, and residents of the town of Fandom who wanted to wtiness this event.

It was a beautiful day for a graduation.

Isabel wandered over and took a seat next to him. "Hey stranger."

"Hey - " Angel did a double take. "You!"

"Yeah. Me," she said sheepishly. "I'll never be able to bug you about making phone calls again."

"One down," Angel replied. "You okay?"

"I'm okay," Isabel smiled. "Parker and Jack made sure of it. I'm sorry I didn't call. Things have been a bit crazy."

"Did you fall naked from the ceiling?"

"No, more like through time and space," she explained. "I wound up in Cardiff. Fortunately I was not naked."

"Well yeah," Angel said. "It can get pretty cold there."

"The little bit I saw of the weather was pretty crappy," Isabel agreed. "But I was so tired I didn't really care. I just wanted to get home. A friend of Jack's was able to help me."

"Good for Jack's friend," Angel said. "You back for good now?"

"I don't think so. Max and Michael are still out there. I need to get back to them. Hopefully in August I'll be able to." She refused to think about what would happen if she couldn't.

"So tell me, how's life in LA? Logan behaving himself?"

"It's good," Angel said. "Busy. Lotta cases. Logan's holding up his end, believe me."

"Good to hear," Isabel nodded. "Otherwise I bet I could convince Parker we need to go on a little road trip to do some thwapping."

"She needs an excuse now?"

"Probably not. It's just a matter of working it into her schedule," she admitted. "She's leaving on the nineteenth and has a pretty busy summer planned."

"Anything I should be worried about?"

"Maybe. She's spending a few weeks in Moscow translating for her dad," Isabel explained, making a face. She'd yet to actually meet Mr. Parker, but she'd already learned to dislike him intensely. "I hope he does get her too stressed."
