Faculty Party, The Danger Shop, Thursday afternoon through evening

Invitations had ~~handwavily~~ gone out to all Fandom High faculty:

When the faculty members stepped into the Danger Shop, they saw that it did indeed look like the deck of a cruise ship on a nice, sunny day. There was a snazzy buffet, shuffleboard, deck chairs, a string quartet, and much, much more.

And an open bar.

Above the door leading out of the shop was a banner:

But enough of that. Now it was time to boogie.

Aly eyed him then chuckled. "Clothes too confining?"

"If you've got it, flaunt it." Ares stretched and flexed. "And I've got it in spades."

"It's hard to disagree with you at times."

"Well, hard can at times be very good."

"You're right. I've always liked a challenge."

"They can be so stimulating, can't they?"

"Only if the participants are up to it."

"I assure you, I'm up for a good challenge any time of the day, or night."

Aly grinned. "Why does that not surprise me."

Ares grinned back. "If you want me to surprise you, you just have to ask."

"Oh, I'm not quite that silly to give a god free rein for surprises," Aly replied with a smirk.

"You never know, you might enjoy it."

"It's a definite possibility."

"Only a possibility?" Ares asked, pouting. "I'm hurt."

Aly shrugged. "What can I say? I've had experience with gods."

"Clearly not of the right kind."

"And that's something you'll provide?" she asked thoughtfully.

Ares grinned. "In abundance."

"Am I supposed to take your word for it?"

"If you want me to give it, I will," Ares said. "I'm a god, I don't lie. I don't need to." He was pleading the fifth on misdirection and deception though.

She chuckled. "Sure, you don't need to lie because you're perfectly capable of spinning the truth however you want it."

"I'd be insulted by your implication if it wasn't at least halfway accurate."

"Just halfway? Usually I hit my mark more clearly."

"I did say 'at least'," Ares pointed out.
