Faculty Party, The Danger Shop, Thursday afternoon through evening

Invitations had ~~handwavily~~ gone out to all Fandom High faculty:
Party on a cruise ship in the comfort of our own shop!

Faculty Party!

When the faculty members stepped into the Danger Shop, they saw that it did indeed look like the deck of a cruise ship on a nice, sunny day. There was a snazzy buffet, shuffleboard, deck chairs, a string quartet, and much, much more.

And an open bar.

Above the door leading out of the shop was a banner:

But enough of that. Now it was time to boogie.

[OOC: Post is open all day, huzzah! NPCs are completely free to mod. And, um, sorry about the egregious punnery inside the OCD. This is pretty bad even for me.

ETA: Also, if there are any terrible typos or other general errors anywhere, I wrote this at 3:00 AM. You're lucky I strung three words together, let alone a series of painful puns.]

Emma arched an eyebrow and looked him over, sipping her drink. "Oh, I don't think so. You seem like quite the strapping young man yourself. Are you staying on the island for the summer?"

He blushed a little and said, "I am, yes. And yourself?"

"I am, but I am certainly not teaching." Emma shuddered a little. "Perhaps I will apply for a summer job."

"Had your fill of teaching for now?" Fraser asked. "Or just your fill of Jamie Madrox?"

"The latter, and also I've always wanted to have a proper holiday." Emma's smile widened. "Preferably filled with strapping, shirtless young men."

He laughed again and said, "Which disqualifies myself. I'm old. I've been told so."

"Oh really? By who?" Emma's eyebrows went up in surprise.

He laughed again and said, "You want specific names?"

"Certainly," Emma nodded, smiling. "That way I can make sure they get an appointment with a respected optometrist."

"You'd do that for me, would you?" Fraser asked, smiling again. "Anyway I could repay the favor?"

"I'm sure we could think of something."

"For now though, I suppose I could at least take my jacket off," he said. "It is rather hot."

"That works very well for me too," Emma laughed. She couldn't really remove any more clothing and still be somewhat decent. She turned her head to watch the jacket-removing.

And off came the jacket. Of course, suspenders and undershirt didn't quite shirtless make but it was better than nothing.

He hung the jacket carefully on the back of his chair. "There we are."

"Lovely suspenders," Emma complimented.

"Thank you," he said, re-taking his seat. "They seem to do the job they were created for."
