Detention, April 28th, The Danger Shop

The Tick opened up the Danger Shop - which looked like a city rooftop - bright and early and put up a signup sheet.

"Huh," The Tick said as students started to filter in. "Well, a rooftop is no place for children. Let's see..." The Tick started to poke at buttons until he recalled the same playground setting that was used just about this time last year. "That's better! Let's have a good, fun detention! SPOOON!"

[OOC: Detention will only take place through lunchtime because Tick won't punish a bunch of little kids unless they send a crazed cyborg dog on him. There will be an afternoon Danger Playground in Dorms later on.

And don't worry about the standard thing about playing elsewhere. Just make sure it's not set for morning. IT'S WEETINY, DAMMIT!]

Lunch was yummy and Annette got pizza sauce all around her mouth. She even ate one whole slice all by herself. She finished her juicebox though and raised her hand.

"Mr. Tick!"

"Yes, Annette?" Tick said, getting a napkin for her.

She used the napkin first, getting only half of the pizza sauce off. "Can I have another juicebox, I's firsty, and then will you give me piggyback ride pleeeeeeeese?"

"Of course!" Tick said. He reached over for another juice box and handed it to Annette. "And once you finish that and make sure you're all clean, you have have a piggyback ride since you were so polite!"

She laughed and drank her juice in a hurry, making her eyes turn all red. After that, she wiped her hands and face clean and stood up in her chair.

"I's ready!" And her arms went out.

"Okay!" Tick said, picking Annette up and placing her on his shoulders. "Please give your battle cry as we get moving and please don't grab the antennae!"

Annette laughed loudly and didn't need to grab on to anything cause her knees were locked tightly against his neck. Hopefully she wasn't choking or or hurting him.

She shot her arms up straight in the air and yelled, "SPOOOOOOON! SPOOOOOON!"

"Having fun, Annette?" Tick asked pacing quickly.

Maybe after he did his play stuff he could teach kindergarten in The City...

"Yay! Giddy-up! Giddy-Up! This is the best fun ever!"

She laughed and started smacking him lightly on the head, "Yeeee! Hawww! Giddy-up lil doggies!" She heard that from somewhere, she was sure of it.

"Actually, I'm a Tick," Tick said. Just in case she seriously thought he was a dog. "I take it you've enjoyed today's detention overall, then?"

"Giddy-up Tick!" She hit his head again to make him go faster.

"I cried today. Sokka made fun of me on the monkey bars. I got stuck."

"Well, that wasn't very nice of him!" Tick said, aghast. Why would somebody want to make somebody else cry? "Just for that, I'm going to make sure he doesn't get a lollipop before he leaves."

"I know it! I called him a meanie and he said I was funny!" And Annette refrained from telling him that she kicked Cam cause then she might not get her lolly either and that would be bad.

"Sokka is nothing but trouble. I'll have to make sure he doesn't become a supervillain in the future!" Tick said.

"Yay!" Her arms went straight in the air again and she sort of hopped up and down on his shoulders. "Sokka's in trouble! Sokka's in trouble!"

"Are you good to come down now, Annette?" The Tick asked. He was clearly having fun, but he should probably make sure he was paying attention to everyone else.

She nodded, "K. It was a lot of fun, Mr. Tick. Can I have a hug too?"

"Of course!" Tick said. He picked Annette off his shoulders and placed her back on the ground, then held his arms out. He had an impressive wingspan.

She laughed and went running for him. Annette was a bit awed by his size and his wingspan, but it didn't deter her from getting the best hug ever!

"Thank you, Mr. Tick! Don't forget my lollipop later!" She turned and skipped back to the table she was sitting at cause she needed another juicebox now.
