Detention, April 28th, The Danger Shop

The Tick opened up the Danger Shop - which looked like a city rooftop - bright and early and put up a signup sheet.

"Huh," The Tick said as students started to filter in. "Well, a rooftop is no place for children. Let's see..." The Tick started to poke at buttons until he recalled the same playground setting that was used just about this time last year. "That's better! Let's have a good, fun detention! SPOOON!"

[OOC: Detention will only take place through lunchtime because Tick won't punish a bunch of little kids unless they send a crazed cyborg dog on him. There will be an afternoon Danger Playground in Dorms later on.

And don't worry about the standard thing about playing elsewhere. Just make sure it's not set for morning. IT'S WEETINY, DAMMIT!]

"I've been nice just like Sensei Washburn asked me too," he said quickly and held out the sandwich. "See? I made you lunch! It's peanut butter, we don't have that in the Fire Nation."

"Thank you, Zuko!" Tick said. "I appreciate it! As far as peanut butter is concerned, it is the mystical sword in the legend of lunch! You can have a story of a sandwich without it, but it only improves things if you can get it in there!"

Zuko really wasn't sure what kind of legends there were about lunch, but he liked swords and he liked peanut butter so at least they had that in common. "Do you know a lot of stories, Sensei?"

"I have a lot of stories of heroes and villains!" Tick said. "And about little wooden boys who save people from giant whales."

Zuko had no idea what giant whales were. "Boys can't be made of wood!" he argued.

"Sure they can!" Tick said as he returned from unannounced afk. "I have a very good friend who was a little wooden boy! That was his name and everything!"

Even if he was short and preferred knives, Zuko was still a firebender. "Wouldn't he catch on fire?"

"The original Little Wooden Boy used his flammability to save his friends. The second Little Wooden Boy lost his life due to his flammability to help a friend. But every other Little Wooden Boy has survived to this day!" Tick explained.

Zuko frowned a little as he considered this. "I could protect him. I'm a firebender," he said importantly.

"Thank you, Zuko!" Tick said. He didn't think that Little Wooden Boy needed protection, but it was nice of Zuko to offer. "I and Little Wooden Boy both appreciate it!"

Zuko beamed and bounced a little, glad to be able to help. "You're welcome. Does anyone else need a sandwich? I can make more."
