The chairs in the room have been spaced far apart to discourage talking, and Elliot hands an exam to each student as they walk in.

"Welcome to your final exam in human anatomy," she begins, when they seem to be assembled. "I hope it will be as fun as a test can possibly be -- which is actually pretty fun. Anyhow, there are three parts. First page is cake, just label the body parts the arrows are pointing to. Second page is 20 multiple-choice questions. Third page is an essay question, and you get two choices there: Either 'Explain how the respiratory and circulatory systems react to physical exertion' or 'Name the five grossest things you learned in this class.' "

"This is my last class at Fandom. A few days after graduation, I am heading back to my old hospital, where I get to be co-chief resident. You all have been a fantastic class, and I hope you learned something. Anyhow, if you want to talk to me, I'll be around after class, or I'll have my final office hours tomorrow. Your grades will be posted before I leave, and if you're going to try bribing me, I like chocolate and pictures of men in uniform."

Chad ~~totally handwavey, boo~~ took the exam and did nearly perfect on it. When he looked over his essay answer, though, the one on the respitory and circulatory system, to check for proper spelling and things like that, he shifted in his chair a little and wondered what Teddy would be doing after this class because, wow, yeah....the answer was completely appropriate and correct, but, man, it sounded dirty.

1) That the inside of the human body is squishy
2) Heart transplants, ew.
3) Earthworms, ew.
4) Smoking is bad, ew.
5) There were some weird ways to learn about sexual organs.

Kabuto hadn't studied. But he didn't really need to, seeing as he'd had intensive study already. And the essays were probably much longer than Elliot was originally looking for...considering he'd gone into much more depth than just the respiratory and circulatory systems, explaining how everything worked together.

And then explaining how to take it all apart in the best ways to keep the patient still alive. And awake.

She was probably glad to be getting rid of him.

Labeling things is easy enough, and Aeryn does all right on the second part. And she actually attempts the first essay question before giving up halfway through and listing the five things. ~~It's probably a good C+, maybe a B- if you're generous.~~

Henry had been studying for weeks. He breezed through the first two pages, and wrote a three-page paper for the essay question, using both sides of the sheets. He liked Dr. Reid, and wanted to show her how much he'd learned from her class. He tried a little too hard, hoping to make her proud.

Marty labelled all the reproductive organs with fake names.

He's nice like that.

Talk to Elliot, try to cheat on the exam, or say buh-bye to her pet rats. (Which have totally been in the classroom all term.)

Henry approached Elliot.

Elliot glanced up with a smile. "Hey, Henry, did you blow me away on your exam?"

Henry gave her a grin. "I did my best."

"Then I'm sure it was fantastic," Elliot said "You did a really nice job this semester, Henry. Do you still want to be a doctor?"
