Parker came in looking tired but triumphant. "A in Forensics assured. How are you doing?"

"Ready as I'll ever be," she shrugged. "I think. Hopefully. Maybe."

"Meh." Parker made a face, then grinned. "One, just one Final to go, and it's alllll over. I can't believe it."

"Does this mean there's going to be massive amounts of celebrating after Hunting?" Isabel grinned.

"I think so, yes. Caritas or Devil's Nest or both or fun in the Common Rooms or something. If I'm not too exhausted to do it," Parker said, twirling on one of the library chairs. "Is this your last day for Library duty?"

"Well let me know if you do go out. I'll probably joint you. I only have one exam tomorrow," she said. "And it's not like I'll be drinking. I suppose it is, although I'm liable to pop in here once in a while during the summer just to get the beach reading material."

"Angelica Demesnes has another book coming out," Parker said, amused, "Opalescent Passion, I think." She frowned, remembering Aly in the coffee shop. "Not that everyone appreciates nicely tacky romance novels...."

"That's something to look forward to," Isabel smirked. "I'll live vicariously through the pages. I don't know about everyone else, but I certainly appreciate them."

"Same here. I'm looking forward to a couple weeks of relaxing and reading before I head off to work in Russia. Do you think it'll get warm enough to lay out on the beach before mid-May?" Parker tilted her head, looking thoughtful. "Or that we can roadtrip somewhere fun before then?"

"It should. I mean it's getting there slowly at least. It was pretty nice when Jack and I went to the beach after the concert the other night," she said. Isabel shrugged, "And if not? We road trip further south. I'm sure there's got to fun and sun somewhere."

"Maybe an amusement park." Parker grinned, and spun again. "Are the Library Aides having the traditional food-fest before summer ends? Because if so, I want to be sure to show up for it."

"Isn't there a Busch Gardens or something near here? I was threatening Cedric with a trip to a water park at some point," Isabel said, tucking her notes into her bag. "And I don't have a clue about any sort of end of year feast. Remember this is my first year working here."

"True. Something to ask Ms. Readman, then." Parker tilted her head. "And yeah, I think there is. That'd be a good thing to do, in between Graduation and everyone leaving."

"Yeah, one last hurrah before you all go and leave me here on my own," she pouted. "You'll be living the glamorous life in Europe and I'll be here sweating in the preserve."

"Translating business agreements between cranky businessmen, and sneaking out when I can to be a tourist by myself," Parker reminded her. "I'll be IM'ing you at weird hours just to keep from being lonely, you watch."

"And Tahiti isn't an option? Why is that again?" she asked half seriously.

Parker grinned mischeviously. "Maybe it will be, later this summer. If you get a plane ticket, you'll come along, won't you?"

"Depending on the timing, I could probably be persuaded," she grinned. "Especially if we stay in one of those neat over water bungalows."

"Keep your eyes open then," Parker teased, spinning herself off the chair. "And good luck on the Hunting Final. I'll see you in there in a bit."

Isabel laughed. "I'll be watching the mail avidly. Go get 'em tiger!"
