"Oh, y'know, okay," Mac replied with a small smile back at the other girl as she sat down. "I shot at people this morning and got bitten by a rodent in laser tag gear. So... not too bad as finals go."

"You?" she returned, poking carefully at her seled with a fork.

"That's...nice." Miley said and then decided to go for it. "Have you heard the stuff about Liz setting a fire? Way nasty, right? I mean, to each his own and all but yeouch. I'd prefer not to be burned to the ground in my sleep, thank you very much.!"

Mac paused in her seled poking, a little confused by this sudden outburst. "Uh," she blinked and shook her head. "I hadn't heard that, no, and ow... But, I don't think I know who Liz is anyway."

"I uh, haven't seen anyone matching that description," Mac said slowly. "But, I'll keep a look out for mad cackling girls?" The fact she was sitting opposite someone who matched that particular description? She was choosing to ignore.

"Good deal." Miley nodded, gathering her stuff to leave just in case lightning was going to strike her down. She stopped at the door and turned back to Mac. "Pass it on!"
