Conflict Management and Resolution: Mon Period 4 - Final Class April 23

As the students filed into the Danger Room a large table full of sugary goodness treats was laid out as the final offering before the semester ended. Wilson was standing quietly by the table with a sad smile on his face as he marked off names.

“Well, good morning everybody, let’s get to it shall we? Please find the room with your name on it, inside you will find your practical final. Good luck, it’s been a wonderful class and I wish each of you a fantastic summer and for our graduating seniors, it’s been an honor to teach you.”

Stepping back, he waved the students to their individual rooms and started the scenario.

[ooc: For the final you can choose to if you want to play any one of the scenarios or handwavey any of the scenarios, handwavey all of the scenarios, play all of the scenarios just please tag in to each one. Please wait for The scenario laden OCDs are up! The final is now in session.]

Phoebe stares for a long moment and starts talking to each side and exchanging ideas with them. She may have personal experience with this one.

Lana's tired, but ready to help them avoid a war.

This was what Jedi did, right?

Luke took a deep breath. "Have you actually seen war?" he asked.

"I figured," he said, pressing his lips together. "Okay," he continued, blowing out a breath. "I'm 18. In the last year I've lost hundreds of friends and my entire family in a war that stretched across a galaxy. It escalated to a point where a weapon to destroy planets was not just built, it was used against one. Millions of lives were lost in a blink of an eye. Trillions of lives have been destroyed as this conflict has gone on. It's tragic. It's obscene. It's beyond pointless." He looked from one side to the other. "Don't think that war is the only choice you have. It's not."

"You don't have to defend a culture with weapons!" Luke said, sounding a little frustrated. "The exchange of ideas is part of a free society. Trying to stop them from coming in only makes them that much more appealing."

Between his lessons in this class and Superheroing Peter felt confident he could get both sides to get along. He sat down with both of them and though it took a while he was able to negotiate an attempt at peace.

Summer listened to both sides carefully before helping to negotiate a resolution.

After spending a long amount of time talking them out of fighting, Teddy breathed a sigh of relief.

If only it was that easy in the real world.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" howled Conner, throwing himself bodily onto the board between the pieces. Okay, so the first ten minutes or so of his attempt at resolution involved him using his super-speed to body-check the more aggressive pieces, and it was more than just his ego that ended up bruised by the time he talked them down.

Or wore them out. Hard to say, one way or the other.

Layla felt much better about working with this scenario, and while she didn't feel the need to body-check pieces like Conner did, she did find that standing between them while negotiating helped.

Tori listened to both sides, giving them equal to share their sides of the story, why they feel the need to go to war.

Opposed to fighting, unless it's the absolute last resort, Tori managed to talk to both sides so that peace was achieved.

Bel pointed out how evenly matched both sides were and that battle was just going to result in heavy losses on both sides, and somehow managed to reach a peaceful solution.

This scenario was one of the easier ones for Naomi and it wasn't long before she resolved the conflict.

Oi. Just . . . oi.

Jim pinched the bridge of his nose for a long moment before negotiating some kind of solution.

They had to argue about everything, didn't they? Haruhi shook her head with a sigh, being more familiar with this kind of conflict, and went on to help solve the problem.
