School Assembly, Friday afternoon, The Auditorium

The auditorium has been transformed into what looks like a rock concert arena. As the students enter they might recongnize the Zombie band from Caritas playing a medley of John Denver tunes.

Suddenly the lights change and Lorne bounces out onto the stage.

"Welcome Cats and Kittens to the one, the only FANDOM IDOL! Each week my students have been honing their singing skills all for a chance to perform for YOU! And now the time has come for them to rock this house and for you... the student assembly to decide who is this year's FANDOM IDOL!"

"Before we begin let's give it up for our guest judges Principal Washboard, VP Hayden Dees and Dean Tic-Tac."

"So c'mon everyone... Let's get this party started!"

The zombies are doing a ripping version of "Rocky Mountain High". Sing along as you take your seats.

No she's not from a state out west. Her name is Miley!

He's rad! He's moody! Give it up for Raymond!

And when I say this next act is from out of town? I really mean it. It's Naomi!

And she's not just a pretty face! She also goes well with chocolate. Give it up for Caramel!

Actually I won't be around but feel free to leave questions that I won't answer until Monday.

Naomi was very nervous about the idea of singing in front of the school but she was trying not to let it show as she got up and sang.

After her performance Naomi was just very relieved to have it over and done with. She was just glad that she hadn't passed out on the stage during her performance.

Being in front of a big crowd? Not a problem. Singing badly in front of one? Kind of a new experience for Miley. She smiled at the crowd before launching into a horribly screechy version of a Hanson song. People in the audience might want to cover their ears, especially during the chorus.

Miley felt pretty proud of herself, there was no way anyone who listened to her song would mistake her for a famous singer.
