Bridge? Is actually still kinda mopey and missing the kids by the time he opens the library Thursday morning.

He attempts to distract himself with coffee and studying during first period.

It doesn't really work. He spends second period on his laptop, scrolling through various ~~totally handwavey~~ pictures of Andy, Bronwyn, Nick (who may not have been *his* but was still an awesome kid) and Toby.

Now he's debating whether to have some of these properly printed out and framed or something, or if that would be too weird.

Bridge is back to studying in the hopes that it will distract him.

Lunch! Yay. Lunch is cupcakes. Because he needs the sugar. But there's juice, so it's balanced. Never mind that juice is just *more* sugar... if you're not a library aide or the librarian you shouldn't be here.

Fifth period? More moping as he reshelves the massive amounts of childrens' books that have been returned since Tuesday.

Hey, maybe if he rewrites every single page of Engineering notes, that'll be distracting enough... yeah notsomuch.

It's seventh period and Bridge is tidying the library in preparation for closing.

Marie drops by the library before she heads to work. She has a small package wrapped in tissue paper with her.

"Hey Marie," Bridge looks up from the shelves he's dusting as she comes in to the library.

"How's everything going?" Marie asks.

"It's... I don't know. I still miss the kids, even though they were only here a few days," Bridge shrugs.

"Same here," Marie says. "It was nice having someone around that I could touch."

"I'm glad you got to have that experience," Bridge says with a smile.

"Me too," Marie admits, smiling back. "And, here, Andy made this for you at the ABG meeting on Tuesday and I didn't have a chance to give it to you until now."

She hands him the small, tissue paper wrapped package which contains the frame Andy made and a picture of him.

"Oh, dude," Bridge says, unwrapping the package and grinning when he sees the picture it contains. "This is awesome." He tells Marie. "I, um. Have some pictures from the sleepover on Monday night, if you want copies."

"Please," Marie says immediately. "Andy was very excited about his sorta-brother and sorta-sister," she tells him. "I wonder what the us in the future will say about that."

"I'll email them to you," Bridge says with a grin. "Hopefully they'll find it just as cool as Andy did."

"Thanks," Marie grins back. "And, well, they must have gone to Fandom, so at least it shouldn't shock them too badly. At least, I'd hope not."

What. The. Hell.

First I couldn't type "sixth period" properly (kept typing it as "sith"). Then I noticed that fourth period had mysteriously disappeared even though I KNOW I HIT POST COMMENT. So then I delete the other threads to post that one. It won't post.

Finally it posts. Firefox crashes. Then LUNCH won't post. Then I can't get in to edit my post to say "plz to wait for OCD IF I CAN EVER GET IT TO GO UP" because the page keeps timing out.

I ALWAYS KNEW SIXTH PERIOD HAD FALLEN TO THE DARK SIDE!

I never liked afternoons, omg.
