Sakura . . . wasn’t in the classroom this morning. Instead, when the students filed in, they would see a very young-looking woman in a yellow jacket and pigtails, waving at them from the display screens; the background behind her was a near mirror image of the classroom, though with more electronic equipment lying about.

“Hi, Sakura-neesan’s students! Your teacher can’t be with you today because Natsuki messed up and Sakura-neesan has to fix it." Under her breath, and looking a bit dejected about it, she added, “Again." In a louder tone, she continued, “You were supposed to get a chance to look at the Golden Sword of Lemuria, but Natsuki might have misplaced it . . . it’s okay! They’ll find it! Really!"

The prerecorded image pointed toward the stack of handouts on the table. “Sakura-neesan wants you to read up about Natsuki’s home continent, Lemuria, this week. But Natsuki thinks you’d rather watch a movie instead, right? Souta-kun said so. And the first episode of the original Strifenova Celestial talked about Lemuria, too, so you get to watch that today!" She looked around furtively, then back at the screen. “Don’t tell Sakura-neesan, okay?"

Several moments later, after some very evident futzing about, the recording finally cut out and the movie -- or TV episode, really -- began.

[OOC: Why yes, it’s movie day today owing to my entire night being eaten by resume-rewriting fun. Sigh.]

"It's not the movie," Jo said, drawing a detailed and rather gory doodle of a dismembered blue man on fire.

"Then what is it?"

"You catch the radio yesterday?"

"I... uh was kinda busy. Something invade when I wasn't looking?"

"There was an...incident."

"Gremlin based?" Dean asked, remembering Jaye's sudden Disneyfied mood last night.

"Not exactly," Jo said. "Although it might have been better if it was."

"So what was the incident then?" Dean asked curiously.

"I shot the Vice-Principal in the ass."

Dean stared for a moment, then started laughing. "Was that where you were aiming?"

"I'm a good shot," Jo said. "I hit what I aim for."

"Not that I don't appreciate displays of fine marksmanship or have any particular good feelings for our vice principal," Dean said, still having the ghost of laughter in his voice, "but why use him for target practice?"

"Did you meet Tommy this weekend?" Jo asked. "Because he was reason enough."

Dean hadn't, but he vaguely recalled Sammy mentioning him when he came back with Kelly and Willa. "That was one of your alternate siblings, right?"

"He took after his daddy in the looks department," Jo said. "Blue skin and flaming hair."

"Huh." Dean turned that over in his mind, then shot Jo a sharp look. "Do I have to worry about Sammy and Dad being on your target list too?"

"Unless either of them turned into creepy gods of the Underworld when I wasn't looking, no."

"Maybe he's not a creepy god of the Underworld in the dimension that Tommy was from?" Dean suggested. "I mean I can't see your Mom hooking up with Hades the way he is here."

"I don't think he's different," Jo said. "Not from the way Tommy talked about him."

Dean frowned. "What did he say?"

"Called him a douche, on air, amongst other things."

"His own kid?"

"Yeah."

"I think instead of his butt, I would've aimed for the other side," Dean told her.

"If I thought he wouldn't have pulled some trickery if he saw it coming, I would have."
