In class there was a display of staffs, wooden swords, nun-chucks and small foam tipped kunai. There was also a two-year-old boy sitting at the edge of the display playing with plastic shuriken and kunai.

"Good morning everyone! This week we are moving onto weaponry in martial arts. Now none of these are what you would call ‘real’ weapons, but they can do damage just the same, so I urge caution." Yondaime explained as he moved backwards to bat his son’s hands away from the other weapons, earning him a rather petulant look.

"The fundamentals are the same as the other styles we've been learning and so there shouldn’t be much extra that I need to teach you. Adding a weapon to your fighting style is just adding an extra element, one that you need to remember more because it can hurt you just as easily as your opponent if you let it get away from you." He picked up a set of nun-chucks with a smirk. "These especially."

"For today’s class I’d like everyone to spend time individually with the different weapons, get used to the feel of them. Find out what moves are easier for you to make with them, and which are more difficult. At the end choose a favorite and tell me why." Yondaime walked back over to Karyuu who again was making for the big weapons and picked him up, balancing him on his hip. "If you have little ones, I have brought smaller, child safe weapons for them to play with if you wish," he explained going over and giving Karyuu a small plastic sword with a smile.

Throwing knives - Kunai

Kabuto was teaching his kidlet. Because the child seemed to think everything but the actual target was the corrent thing to throw at.

Pip instantly went for the knives.

Long practice had taught him that lack of depth perception had pretty much ruined his abillity to use those other weapons.

When he pings in with his demon spawn.

Kabuto's here, demonspawn in tow. The demonspawn was, of course, making derisive comments about the 'non-dangerous' weaponry.

Yes, that is a two-year-old and yes, it is apparently his.

And the said two-year-old was very happy playing with his weapons.

Kagaku looked at Karyuu with a slight sneer. "Baby," he taunted.

Karyuu glared. "'M No'!"

And just for a final word on the subject he threw one of his kunai at him.

It was not wise to 'challenge' Kagaku with thrown weapons. The boy had real ones. Thankfully, his Papa was in no mood to deal with a squalling Hokage brat, and picking the offending Orochimaru-spawn up before he could throw anything sharp at Karyuu.

"Kagaku. As much as I approve of your choice of targets, something all ninja must learn is timing. And now is not it."

And sometime after class, sneaky like a... mercenary, Deadpool showed up to grab Karyuu.

He lost a kid and was thinking that maybe he could use the other to find her.

Logical? Not really. Fun? Heck yeah!

"Daddy!" Karyuu glee'd. "Papa gave me a' s'ord!"

"Did he?" Wade ooo-ed over it. "And what are you going to do with the sword?"

"Uhh...." The toddler looked confused at the sword. "Umm... s'wing i'?"

"Gonna carry him off then?" Arashi smirked coming over to Wade and Karyuu.

Wade patted Karyuu on the head. "Maaaaybe." He was being very sneaky, slowly reaching for the boy and tossing him over his shoulder like a very fragile sack of potatoes and running like the wind. "Quickly! We have to find your sister before she gets into another fight!"

"Cute kid," Kyo remarked walking up. "Yondaime-sensei, can I have today off? My arm is broken." And he gestured to his left arm, which was encased in an orange cast.

"Uhh... I don't see where I have a choice in the matter, Kyou," He said a little stunned. "May I ask what happened?"

OMG wee tiny kidlets everywhere!!

THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!

...But they're awesome.
