Traditional Fairy Tales, Class Fourteen (04/16)

Monday, April 16, Period Two

A large projection screen decorates one wall of the classroom, and there's a nice assortment of pastries, muffins, popcorn and pretzels on the table in the center of the room.

"Good morning everyone. We were scheduled to have a test today, but I felt it was hardly fair to give you a test the week before finals. So instead, we'll be watching a film that's full of the classic fairy tale elements - The Ogre and the Ass and it always said that omg. You'll probably recognize some of them from the stories we've read, although you'll find they've been turned a bit on their side. Please remember that next week you'll be making your project presentations, so I'll be available in my office tomorrow, or after class today, for any questions."

[ooc: Anyone with kidlets is welcome to bring them to class, just please check with me OOC before telling Aziraphale exactly where they came from (so I can avoid contradicting some preplay). Please wait for OCD is up. Entertain me!]

Pandora shook her head. "No, Mommy likes getting her way and Daddy stops people from making her frown."

"Your daddy sounds nice," Mia decided. "My daddy's nice too."

"Nice Daddys are a very good thing."

"Uh huh." Mia bounced on Conner's knee and hugged his arm. "We should go play later."

Pandora nodded. "Yes we should."

"Oh, I really like that idea! Can my mommy come, too?"

Because we're not breaking their brains enough, apparently.

"Sure," Mia exclaimed. "I wish I knew where my mommy was, though. I don't know if she's here."

Never enough brainbreakage.

"Oh! Want me to help you find her? I'm really good at finding people!"

"Are you?" Mia asked, interestedly. "How come you're good at it? And sure!"

Pandora shrugged. "I don't know exactly. I just seem to be very good at finding people. Mommy says I have good in-too-itshun."

"My mummy tells me that too!" Mia liked her new friend. "Only she usually says it when she sees me make a good play in a soccerfootball game."
