When the students filed into the Danger Shop this morning, they'd notice Fraser standing at attention near the front of the room. The names of those with detention were neatly displayed in plain view.

"Good morning everyone," Fraser said, smiling pleasantly. "I trust you all had a fine Friday, slept well and are prepared for your detention this morning. Some of you may know me, some of you may not. I'm Constable Benton Fraser, head of school security here. If this is our first meeting, I wish it could be under better circumstances."

He paused to take his hat off and drop it on a desk. "For today's detention, we're going to have a little adventure. This adventure will be non violent and, should you try anything violent, you will have to deal with me. I'll be guiding your progress and controlling the adventure. Your goal is to retrieve the treasure from the castle and unleash it's many wonders. Good luck."

Fraser stepped back and the Danger Shop suddenly became a large, open meadow.

[Basically, this is Choose Your Own Adventure. I'll start out with a setting and some minor directions and the students can go from there. Familiar characters might pop up along the way. But, please, no violence. I'll be around all day most likely.]

"I think I need to watch and listen to get the full, um, experience," Alec said.

"Very well," Timon said and put on a huge, cheesy grin before he started tap dancing and singing.

"You have come to my cottage! Just a home away from home! And if you would like, come inside and I'll make you some soup and put you in a cage and make you be my servant!"

Alec took another step back. And then grabbed a chair. "Okay, that is not happening," he said, wondering if he could do violence in self-defence. "And you still haven't told me where I am!"

Timon continued to sing and dance. "You're at my cottage, just south of the castle!"

And he started doing cartwheels. Yeah, really.

"We've been expecting you," he sang creepily. "Come inside and never leave!"

"Dude!" Alec backpedaled in alarm and lifted the chair, throwing it as hard as he could at Ana-- Timon, sorry -- before fleeing back the way he came.

The chair distracted Timon enough that he did not follow Alec when Alec fled.

Now, Alec was back in the meadow and there was someone trundling towards him. The sun was bright, marring the image of the person but someone was coming.

Alec squinted, trying to see who it was before they got too close, feeling understandably wary about who else might be looking to feed him soup or enslave him. "Hey!"

The woman came into view and Alec would clearly be able to see that the very loud footsteps were being mad due to the woman wearing VERY big, red shoes.

"Hey is my sister's name," she said politely.

Alec stopped a fair distance away, eyeing her suspiciously. "So what's yours?"

"Yo," she said serenely.

"Yo," Alec repeated. "Uh. So, I'm lost, Yo. You have any idea where we're at?"

"You are no longer lost if I have found you," she said, clasping her hands together.

And there was the backwards stepping again. "...Found me for what?"

"I am princess," she said and pulled out her princess badge. Yes, really. "I can help you, young one. I mean you no harm."

"Help me with what?" Princess badge. Okay. That was a way to identify them. "If it has to do with cages, either you'll be wearing go-go boots or we'd better both be naked."

She put her badge away and tilted her head at him. "Neither of those, I'm afraid. I have no desire to cage you. Only to help. The king, my father, is not a nice man. I thought, perhaps, you could help me if I help you?"

He nodded slowly. "Okay, sure. What is it you need?"

"Beans," she said.

"Why beans?" Alec said, curious about that more than he was wondering how to get some.

"They are an aphrodisiac," she said like it was totally obvious.

Okay. "What do you need them for?" Alec asked, not sure if he wanted to know if they had anything to do with her dad.

"For our annual ceremonial dance of fertility," she said. "Which you are more than welcome to participate in."

Alec perked up ~~a lot~~ ~~literally~~ a little at that. "Sure. Where do we need to go?"

She started to tell him before pausing. "I'm sorry, I have to ask. But you are pure of heart, pure of soul and pure of body, yes?"

"Sure," Alec lied smoothly.
