Detention, Saturday Morning, April 7
When the students filed into the Danger Shop this morning, they'd notice Fraser standing at attention near the front of the room. The names of those with detention were neatly displayed in plain view.
Alec
Rikku
Seely Booth
Hamlet Dane
Jim Ellison
Zero Hopeless-Savage
Ranma Sao
"Good morning everyone," Fraser said, smiling pleasantly. "I trust you all had a fine Friday, slept well and are prepared for your detention this morning. Some of you may know me, some of you may not. I'm Constable Benton Fraser, head of school security here. If this is our first meeting, I wish it could be under better circumstances."
He paused to take his hat off and drop it on a desk. "For today's detention, we're going to have a little adventure. This adventure will be non violent and, should you try anything violent, you will have to deal with me. I'll be guiding your progress and controlling the adventure. Your goal is to retrieve the treasure from the castle and unleash it's many wonders. Good luck."
Fraser stepped back and the Danger Shop suddenly became a large, open meadow.
[Basically, this is Choose Your Own Adventure. I'll start out with a setting and some minor directions and the students can go from there. Familiar characters might pop up along the way. But, please, no violence. I'll be around all day most likely.]

Re: Large Meadow
"Yes," she said slowly. "Do a cheer."
Re: Large Meadow
"Strawberry shortcake! Banana split!
We make your team look like --
Shift to the left! Shift to the right!
Stand up, sit down, fight fight fight!
Gooooooooooooooooooo Gremlins!"
Re: Large Meadow
"You are obviously evil!"
The dog pounced at Rikku again.
"You have come to take me back to the castle! I WILL NOT GO! I WILL NOT GO!"
Re: Large Meadow
She tried to peel the dog off her leg, flailing wildly. "BAD PUPPY! Hey! I don't even know where the castle is! I am totally anti-authority! Stupid castle! Bad castle! BAD PUPPY NO!"
Re: Large Meadow
"You lie," she said. "You are a spy!"
Re: Large Meadow
Re: Large Meadow
The puppy tried to crawl up Rikku's body.
"My pet will continue to attack you unless you admit that you are a servant from the castle."
Re: Large Meadow
Re: Large Meadow
The dog continued trying to climb Rikku's body and made a play to bite her hair.
Re: Large Meadow
Re: Large Meadow
"You are a mere child," she said, cackling. "Tell me why I should let you go? If you were that powerful, you would've done something already. I think you are just a timid little child."
Re: Large Meadow
She set her chin for a second and concentrated. Lulu could zap this girl with a hundred dogs chewing on her ankles. Make Lulu proud. Got it.
"Get wet," Rikku hissed, making a sharp movement with her arm.
Unless the other woman deflected it, about a gallon of water was going to fall on her head.
Not that it would hurt her, but it'd definitely show her she could do magic, right?
Re: Large Meadow
The water drenched the woman and sent the dog flying off of Rikku and over to it's owner.
Rikku could either escape now or continue the confrontation.
Re: Large Meadow
But items were exactly what she didn't have, with her pouch empty, and she'd used her one trump card. All her other spells could hurt the woman or the dog and - as crazy as Not-Aly was and as mean as the dog was - she didn't want that.
Okay, they wouldn't hurt much, but still. Man, she missed her smoke bombs.
Seemed like a good time for a hasty retreat.
Re: Large Meadow
As Rikku retreated, yelling could vaguely be heard behind her. "...my pretty, and your little spells too!"
Rikku was back in the meadow. The castle still sat to the north and the river still flowed to the east
