This class is either on or for crack, I'm not sure which.

Really, this place was just getting absolutely ridiculous.

It was about time someone rational seized control.

And if people could come up with something like the Flying Spaghetti Monster, well. Steerpike had no doubts as to his own ability.

Both? It can totally be for crack while on crack!

Sam may be whimpering at her desk, wondering where sanity and rationality have gone and muttering something about half-lives, carbon dating, and fossils.

She also really, really hopes those religions were as satirical as they seemed.

Sam was there, trying not to give herself a concussion on her desk.

Isabel was headdesking and possibly plotting beatings with wet noodles on people who took stuff from Special Collections.

Annette Hargrove

After a brief struggle with competing urges, Jack sat next to Sam, looking at her for a long time - she couldn't have, not Sam - before saying, "Hi."

Annette was just sitting there, minding her own business for a change.

"Hey," she smiled at him, trying to figure out if he'd been sleeping, "How're you?"

He hadn't, he'd been awake all night with Cedric. He shrugged, drummed his fingers on the table as he debated whether to tell her about Cedric or not. But if they'd been in on selling him out to Lana together, she might already know...

Jack groaned quietly and put his head down on the desk. "I'm okay."

"Where I come from, there are plenty of noodly appendages about. None of them belong to a spaghetti monster, though... Is He edible?"

I'm for being on crack, totally.

Also, I love you forever for this class. :D

Sam reached out for Jack, hesitated, then decided to hell with Ares. "No, you're not," she ran a hand down his head, "want to tell me? Or go back to bed and you can borrow my notes if you decide you need them?"

He tensed under her touch, his suspicions flaring to life, but he shoved them down. It was Sam. Until he saw proof, he wouldn't believe she'd hurt him like that. "No, I need to be here," he said, making himself relax and smile at her. "And I need to tell you about Cedric."

"Cedric? What happened to Cedric?" What the hell was going on with this week?
