Self Defense Club, Friday [After Classes]

Today the Danger Shop was set up to look kind of like a junkyard, the kind with lots of mostly-intact cars lying ~~conveniently~~ around.

"I love cars," Conner said with a grin, perched on the hood of a red sporty model that, if anyone asked, bore a strong resemblance to his own car back home. "I miss my car. Which is beside the point. Say you find yourself walking down the street or something, right? And you get attacked by somebody who may or may not resemble a . . . oh, I don't know, a cross between a donkey and a vacuum cleaner. Cars can be your friend, and I don't mean in the hotwiring them to escape sense. 'cause that would be bad, right, Tori?"

Tori grinned, nodding in response. "That would be very bad. But Conner's right, cars can be your friend. They can offer you temporary protection, if you need it. In these types of situations, cars can help immensely." She knew that from experience, Conner as well.

"Of course." Ami smiled and faking low, attempted to strike form the right.

Billy hadn't expected her to feint, so she managed to get him, but he spun out of the way immediately after.

Ami giggled and continued pressing on. "You can't escape me"

"While trying to ignore how sexy that was," he grinned. "Don't think I'm gonna make this easy for you." He did a splits, dropping to the ground, and then spun into a roll that took him under the car, hopping up on the other side. Yes, he might have been showing off.

"What does it say about you" she asked as she jumped on top of the car and attempted to hit him on the head from above "that you think your girlfriend brandishing a big stick is sexy?"

"Not so much the big stick. You saying that I won't be able to escape. That was sexy." He blocked her swing, and flipped to his feet.

"Why?" Ami figured she could distract him with conversation. And she really did want to know. She made her way down the hood, searching for a better angle.

He stood ready, watching her closely. "Hmm, well, taken out of the context of a fight..."

"I shall keep that in mind." Ami jumped down off the car and did a sweeping lunge and thrust with the pool noodle. It was barely rigid enough for that.

"You're good." Billy complimented her as he dodged.

That... totally stopped her in her tracks. "Yes, but why? Setsuna-chan also said i was good with a sword. And i do not know how."

"Some people just have natural talent I guess." Billy shrugged. "Both my Sensei's told me I picked stuff up quickly as well."

"Maybe. Setsuna-chan thinks it is connected to the Moon Kingdom dreams."

"Oh," Billy thought about that. "You know that could be it."

"You think so too? I am a little worried now..."

"I'm sure it's nothing to worry about." Billy said. "Because, hey we could be wrong and you're just a natural."

"Maybe..." Ami did not sound convinced at all.

"You know what? Even if they are connected, I don't think it's neccesarily anything to worry about."

"You think? I am just..." She didn't really finish her thought, trailing off. Maybe she was worrying over nothing.

"We can be on the lookout for anything like this, but I doubt there's any use in worrying."

"There never is, things either happen or not... But i still worry..."

Billy kissed her. "Feel better?"

"Mmm, maybe a little. I think you may have to do that again."

Billy grinned, and did so.

"Yup, definitely feeling better." Ami said between kisses.
