Revolutions: Week 11, Period 5

Aly looked tired and a bit worried when the class filed into the classroom.

"In case anyone is thinking of skipping class next week, it'll be our second class on making things go boom.  So whether that makes you decide to miss class or be sure to show up early, there it is."

"This class, however, we're going talk about a faction that we haven't really touched on more than tangentially yet.  And that's the military.  No matter what happens in a revolution, you're going to have to deal with the country's military at some point.  Try to get them on your side, figure out a way to keep them shining brass until you're firmly in power, send them out to the northern frontier to play in the snow, fight them face on - all of them are valid options."  She smirked.  "I don't advise the last really."

"Today, I'd like you to pair up and discuss strategies for handling the army and navy of the government you're trying to overthrow.  Anything goes, but try to look at the benefits and possible negatives to the strategy you choose.  Any questions?"

[OOC: Sooo many apologies for the less than stellar class.  I'm going to be afk from about noon until later tonight so SP is happy if you'd like to talk to Aly.  And please wait for OCD is shiny and up]

Marco is the brightly colored piece you can't figure out the place for until the last minute.

Steerpike is a piece of the background.

Anders is . . . a piece from a different puzzle. That won't quite fit in no matter how hard you try to make it.

Alec is the piece that you didn't expect to fit anywhere until the moment its place becomes obvious.

6 is the piece that refuses to fit in to your predefined concepts of puzzles, damn you.

Aeryn is the piece that is probably in a spot where everything looks alike, but when you try to put it somewhere, it fits in in a totally different spot than where you were looking.

Parker is the last piece. That you can't find forever.

Marie is the piece that seems to fit everywhere.

Princess Irulan Corrino seems to be the piece that's really hard to fit in.

Tyler is one of the edge pieces that's all one color, so it hardly looks like anything and takes forever to get in the right place.

Charlie Kawalsky is the piece that you set aside for later because you know exactly where it belongs, but then forget where you put it until the last minute.
