Home Economics, Tuesday, period 1

The classroom today was full of all kinds of dollhouses with many accessories.

Emma was sitting behind her desk, drinking tea when the students entered. "Good morning. Today we are beginning to prepare for the final project. Please pick a doll house and decorate it. You may work together." She nodded towards the collection of cameras on her desk. "Once you are pleased with your house, I want you to take photos of them. Take as many or as few as you wish, but at least one."

After what he'd been through this past weekend, Dean was looking at Emma with a new wariness. (It wasn't fear, no matter how much it felt like it because Dean wasn't going to let this thing make him scared of things. So it had to be just wariness. Really and truly.)

Dean did his best to determinedly focus on the assignment and joking with Dawn, but a part of his mind was going over flashes of his time being Manticore's captive and the attempt of their psychics to pull information straight from his mind.

When Dean glanced up and saw her glaring at him, he had a sudden surge of fear, feeling like a deer caught in headlights. It took some effort to remain where he was, and remain outwardly calm when he really wanted to be elsewhere really really fast.

Okay really, what the fuck? Was he giving off some kind of 'please attack me, it would be fun to rifle through my brain' vibes to psychics or something? And if he was, how the fuck did he stop? Because he wasn't thrilled with pissing off this particular teacher in the best of times and right now it was a really bad thing unless he wanted to have a freak out in front of the entire home economics class.

Dean breathed out a tentative sigh of relief when she looked away, though his shoulders ached with the tension his body still held. He was really going to have to get a hold of this.
