The classroom today was full of all kinds of dollhouses with many accessories.

Emma was sitting behind her desk, drinking tea when the students entered. "Good morning. Today we are beginning to prepare for the final project. Please pick a doll house and decorate it. You may work together." She nodded towards the collection of cameras on her desk. "Once you are pleased with your house, I want you to take photos of them. Take as many or as few as you wish, but at least one."

Dollhouses? River considered bringing up her very real interior design project - redecorating the Acorn - but then shrugged and began to arrange a home that had been attacked by reavers. The whole family had been dismembered and hung from the ceiling in the bedroom.

Dawn started choosing furniture that looked most like what she remembered from the house on Revello. It wasn't so much redecoration as nostalgia.

Quietly, Annette started to put together her dollhouse. Instead of people though, it was a pink pony house. No humans allowed.

Dean looked over at what she was choosing. "You seem to know what you're doing," he observed.

"I always used to sneak in and play with Buffy's dollhouse when she was off with her friends," Dawn said, trying to decide between two lamps. Not that it would matter once she boarded up the front window of the dollhouse, but it was the point of the thing.

"Sammy and I never had one," Dean said, stating the obvious. He shrugged and added, "Never really had a home either. Not since Mom died anyway."

And it was statements like that that made Dawn want to hug both Sam and Dean and kick their father. "So...you can make one. Like, what you'd want home to look like, or what you remember home being like. In a dollhouse, everything is exactly the way you want it, and it doesn't have to change."

Dean chuckled a little. "Considering some of the places we've stayed, I'm not sure I'd trust my experience to decorate a house."
