Yay for headphones on the earmuffs.

Aeryn's not much for talking. The shooting, though, is really kind of impressive.

Luke chose the shooting alley next to Aeryn's but didn't say a word as he blasted away at his target.

Skywalker overprotectiveness was an inherited trait, apparently.

Aeryn doesn't even notice anyone around her until she goes to reload. Yes, reload. It's one of thoose days. When she sees Luke, she kind of gives him a nod as acknowledgment or hello or something.

Luke gave her a small smile in return. "Welcome back," he said quietly. "You were missed."

"I didn't think anyone really noticed I was gone." Despite getting several voicemails on Monday from people who never got calls back.

"Hey, Aeryn. Welcome back. Have a good trip?" Parker's not paying too much attention, still fairly preoccupied with her own problems. But she did listen to the Radio enough to know that some people had left for a while.

"Could have been better," she answers, not looking directly at her. "I'm glad to be back."

"Sorry to hear that. But glad you're okay, at least. Jack got harpooned the last time we went off-planet." Parker shook her head. "Come by my place if you need anything."

Aeryn really hopes the harpooning thing is figurative. "Thanks. I will," she says.

River looked quite happy. She did enjoy the shooting. And while the bruise on her forehead was still visible, her leg felt a lot better today.

Nadia was still pretty upset about what had happened yesterday, so there she was, taking it all out on the poor, defenseless target.

And possibly picturing said target was a certain formerly dead half-demon. . . .

Parker kept an eye on Nadia, because that is not an expression you want aimed at you, or frankly, anywhere on the face of someone holding a 9mm.

Nadia noticed after awhile that she had an audience, and paused in between clips to shoot Parker a half-hearted smile.

"Hey. You doing all right?" Parker asked, one eyebrow up.

Nadia pulled the ear protection off and nodded, setting the gun to the side. "Yeah. Just . . . had a really, really bad day, yesterday."

Pippi is more then mildly miffed that she had to break her bed in two to get free.

*BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM*

River waved to Pippi. "You look gloomy," she called.

"Some joker thought it would be funny to tape me to my bed." Pippi said as she cleaned the glock Pip had given her for her birthday.

On the grip was a skull and crossbones with a pair of braids sticking out on either side.

"So I had to pull myself free and the bed broke before the tape did. Now I gotta buy a new bed."

River frowned. "Taping people to their beds isn't nice." Then she noticed the gun and her face lit up. "Oh, I like that!"

Anders was curiously silent and intense as he unloaded round after round from his handguns into the targets.

Blam.

Don't deserve to be shut out.

Blam.

Have them both.

Blam.

Don't know what they're missing.

Not that he'd ever admit what he was thinking, though.

Z fiddled around with her blaster, figuring out what settings did what.

The one that turned the target to ash, she probably wouldn't be messing with much more.

After testing out the weapon at several different settings, the djinn decides that this, at least, is definitely one of the boy's belongings that will be coming with him when he leaves this damned place.

Door's not comfortable enough with the shooting to be doing much of the talking, at this point. So she's going over the safety and loading instructions Parker gave her, and practicing her stance so that she doesn't knocke herself over when she fires.

Sokka wasn't really talking much, except to himself. He alternated between peering down his aisle with an intense look of concentration -- brow furrowed, tongue hanging out -- and whooping loudly and cheering himself on.

He emptied clip after clip into the target, gleefully shredding it to pieces.
