Newspaper Staff Meeting, 4pm FHT, Journalism Room

Rory? Curled up in the back with a cup of decaf coffee (she felt so blasphemous, omg) and was happily doped up on just enough benadryl to breathe through her nose and just enough ibuprofen to keep everything ache-free.

She was idly looking at something online, though it's entirely possible that it was not anything paper-related. Bad Rory.

"I got a black eye and a concussion and broke my nose," Rory said matter-of-factly. "It's not really a big deal. It was an accident."

Which was a total lie, but she doubted John wanted her to tell people, especially since she wasn't sure what had happened.

"Is there anything I can do?" Peter asked. He of course meant, "Is there anyone I should knock out and leave for school officials to tear apart?" You had to read between the fairly obvious lines for that, though.
