Tremble Foolish Mortals: The Gods and You, Class Ten [Period 5, Thursday]

Ares was fiddling with the controls of the dangershop as the class trooped in.

"Monotheism," he said, finally. "Clearly one of the worst ideas ever. Spawned by egotistic, cowardly gods who can't take a little competition when it comes to getting worshippers."

In case the class couldn't tell this was something of a sore spot for him. "And that's pretty much all I have to say on the matter."

"However," he said, touching a control and causing a vast CGI-ed structure to appear. "Since I'm under contract to deliver a lesson more than one paragraph long, today you're going to be recreating a battle between minions of one of these One Gods as set down in the mindless blatherings of that blonde which I only read to see what she wrote about me."

"Half of you are going to be demons, the other half angels," he said, and waved a hand. "You can pick which side you want to be on, and I've configured the dangershop so that once you've put on the provided costumes, the wings won't just be decorative. You'll be able to fly like you're doing wirework and hopefully fight while flying as well."

[ooc: OCD threads coming are up!]

Marilyn Steerpike chose the side of the angels, of course. Perhaps a slightly naughty angel, but an angel nonetheless.

[ooc: Steerpike still looks like his normal, Steerpike-y self, he just thinks he's a Marilyn Monroe stereotype thanks to today's cupcake]

With a sigh, Sam headed over to be an angel.

Rikku suited up. And hey, in her experience? The good guys were way more kick-butt anyway.

It had nothing to do with good or bad, Billy just thought the Angel costume looked cooler.

Evie was going to be an angel, of course. Who knew when a demon might lose its wings? Besides, no one would believe her as a bad guy. Sigh.
