Rory rushed into the library ~~omglate~~ after waking up a little later than usual, and plopped herself behind the desk.

No, really, it's still first period.

Seriously, it is still morning and this post is on time!

Except that is a lie.

'Cause I forgot and my computer is a jerk.

So, omg, I am sorry for the late post

And for the fact that these OCD threads all have OOC captions.

But frankly, I can't think of anything clever for Rory to do in the omglate library post.

So let's just say she's sitting there reading the WHOLE TIME unless you need help.

It's a somewhat miserable-looking Bridge who makes his way in to the library.

"Hey," he says nervously, walking up to the desk.

"Hi," Rory says, looking up. "Are you all right?"

"No," Bridge says simply. "I need to apologize to you."

Rory raises her eyebrows. "About?"

"Everything, kind of?" Bridge shrugs. "The way I was when we were dating."

Rory frowns. "What about it?"

"I should've looked out for you more," Bridge says.

Rory sighs. "I'm a big girl and can take care of myself, Bridge."

"I just... I should have seen *something*. You weren't eating. You wouldn't really talk to me about the... *whatever* was going on, with Vader. I should have... done something more."

Rory shrugs. "It's done now. I appreciate the apology, but it's not like I'm dwelling on it. You didn't sign up to take care of someone who wasn't really all there when we started dating. I've moved past it."

"Anakin hasn't," Bridge says softly. "I talked to him too."

"I'm not Anakin. And he doesn't get to answer for me," Rory says shortly. "We aren't getting back together, he and I."

Bridge almost frowns at that. Because Anakin and Rory... they just *belonged* together. They were good for each other.

"I'm glad he's back here, though, and not, well, dead."

Rory gives a little smile. "Me too. I did miss him. Which...well, you know that better than anyone."

"I know a little about that, yeah," Bridge says with a small smile of his own.

"How's Xander, by the way?" she asks, because she hasn't seen him since they rescued Bridge.

"He's... good," Bridge says. "Things have changed, obviously, but he's still got that... fundamental Xanderness. Was a girl yesterday too."

"Oh, did that affect you?" Rory asks, smirking. "I only saw Luke and Anakin and Mr. Cale outside of everyone in class."

"Yeah," Bridge says, blushing beet-red. "And may I now say, I get why Z complains about the stupid skirt thing on her uniform. I mean, really. It serves *no purpose whatsoever*."

"Unless it's meant to be pretty? A lot of girl things are," she suggests.

"Could be," Bridge muses. "The dress uniforms for female officers and cadets have *actual* skirts after all."

...I've been OOC all over this post. I have no idea what to say.
