Tremble Foolish Mortals: The Gods and You , Class Eight [Period 5, Thursday]

Looking completely unfazed by the fact he was now not so much a god as a goddess, Ares addressed the class. "Today's class is on Hades, Lord of the Underworld, and what we on Olympus liked to refer to as a loser."

He leant back against his desk. "Don't be fooled by the whole Vice Principal thing, as gods go, he's pretty much a joke, on his watch dead souls were always escaping, being missorted, taking the place over, and more than that, he was whipped. Seriously whipped. He let his mother-in-law set the terms of his marriage. I mean really, no booty six months out of the year?"

"So today's activity is to dicuss the various ways in which Hades is a loser." He looked around the much more female class and grinned. "Then make out with each other."

Blair scratched his head.

Steerpike smirked. "Shall we?" Then she leaned in for a kiss.

Annette was so unsure about all of this but she leaned in to meet her, him, Steerpike!

Steerpike decided on a gentle approach. After all, if Annette had lost her mind, he didn't want to spook her.

Gentle was good, Annette could do gentle. And she tried really hard to keep her mouth pliant; she just couldn't help but be a little tense.

Hmm. Tense wasn't going to work. Steerpike pulled back to look at her. "Relax. I'm not going to hurt you."

Annette nodded, "Okay. I'm sorry." And she closed her eyes and took a deep, calming breath.

Steerpike tried again.

And Annette was much more receptive.

Excellent. She moved to deepen the kiss.

Annette tilted her head and began to think this wasn't so bad, kissing a girl. As the kiss deepened, she became more open and daring almost.

Oh, yes, that was quite nice. Steerpike raised a hand to run it over Annette's back.

Oh, the hand was nice, warm. Annette returned the favor by raising her hand to Steerpike's neck, her thumb holding lightly against the line of his jaw.

"I have a girlfriend!" Jim squawked.

"Me too!" Rikku chimed in. "Er, well, a boyfriend* actually. But still."

[*may not be applicable, little does she know]

"You sure about that?" Jim muttered.

Rikku looked at him oddly. "Wait, why wouldn't he b... oh. OH. You think ..." Her eyes widened.

"Is this everyone today!?" she squeaked.

Jim looked significantly around the class.

Rikku looked around. It wasn't just Ares and Deadpool, apparently ...

And then stared at Jim. "I ... whoa. That's ... but ... whoa."

"No, really? I hadn't noticed," she said sarcastically, slouching down in her chair.

Rory frowned. "No, thanks. I'm good."

"Uh... my girlfriend's not in this class, so that's a big no."

Valentine proceeded to do a good deal more staring.

This was getting absurd.

... As if his roomie trying to kill him this morning and then bursting into tears hadn't been absurd enough, really.

"Would that count as boykissy?"
