Detention, Saturday, February 24

As the students entered the Danger Shop, they noticed that they were on a rooftop with The Tick standing at the edge of the roof overlooking the cityscape. He held a clipboard in one hand.

When everyone had shown up, he turned around and smiled. "Good morning, detentioned students! I am The Tick and I shall be your detention instructor today! Today I'll be showing you the ins and outs of Wrong. You see this city? It's based on The City, my Home Away From Fandom! The City is known for many things. Good diners. Science that is both mad and beneficial. And the never-ending struggle between good and evil, all dressed up in tights! Since you're here, it's assumed that you may be branching out to the evil side of that struggle, so I'm going to show you first-hand that crime doesn't pay!"

"You'll be undergoing a series of simulations as the villain. When you try to do your dastardly deeds, a random hero of The City will come out to thwart you! Don't take these thwartings personally, though. It's our job. The superhero is the Telemarketer of Justice and villains are sitting at home, not expecting to be bothered, but bothered they are because their home is a robot that's destroying a bank and then a call comes asking if you'd like to order some law! And the villain says no, but after some stuggle he's convinced to do so! The only difference here is that instead of better rates on their phone bill or weekdays AND Sundays for newspaper delivery, they just purchased a stay in prison."

"There are some costumes in a box there if you really want to get into the whole theme, but they're optional and completely school appropriate."

[OOC: Sorry for getting it up a little later than intended. Writer's block followed by icon making = slight delay. I'll be around all day. Playing 17 NPCs. *sighs at self*

Information on the heroes can be found here and a videoclip with some of them is here!

For the record, I know there are people who will be signing in late in the day. I am totally cool with that. I never want to stop playing this detention until my brain explodes, so I'm good to play it out however long it takes. :D]

Well, that machine was no help. Stupid thing. There was a noise from the ceiling, and a fuzzy superhero on a rope landed on floor in front of her.

"Awww, that's so cute," she cooed at the fuzzy caped animal. It didn't seem to be doing much at the moment, so she decided to get some help elsewhere.

"Hey Idea Men! Any of you guys got like a big hammer or something to break this desk open?"

Will rolled her eyes. Man, henchmen were useless. She grabbed a paperclip out of a container on top of the desk, and started fiddling with the locks on the first drawer. It popped open, but there was no crystal inside. On to the next one.

"Aww, don't vanish me, you cute little hairy superthing ♥," she answered the little growl.

He was a little moist. His nudge left a mark on Will's evil supervillain pants. She jimmied open the third drawer (nope, no crystal), and bent down to give Speak a skritch underneath his chin and behind his ear, before popping open the fourth drawer.

And there was the crystal. Jackpot.

Will gently pulled Speak off, and put him carefully on the floor. "Sorry. You're a really tough superhero and all, but I have to go blow up the Moon now."

She wiped the moistness of her hands, picked up the crystal, put it into the laser, and did just that. Everything got much darker all of a sudden.
