Detention, Saturday, February 24

As the students entered the Danger Shop, they noticed that they were on a rooftop with The Tick standing at the edge of the roof overlooking the cityscape. He held a clipboard in one hand.

Katara
Sokka
Samantha Carter
Melaka Fray
Charles Kawalsky
Ray Kowalski
Alex Krycek
Jaye Tyler
Will Vandom
Turtle Wexler
Layla Williams

When everyone had shown up, he turned around and smiled. "Good morning, detentioned students! I am The Tick and I shall be your detention instructor today! Today I'll be showing you the ins and outs of Wrong. You see this city? It's based on The City, my Home Away From Fandom! The City is known for many things. Good diners. Science that is both mad and beneficial. And the never-ending struggle between good and evil, all dressed up in tights! Since you're here, it's assumed that you may be branching out to the evil side of that struggle, so I'm going to show you first-hand that crime doesn't pay!"

"You'll be undergoing a series of simulations as the villain. When you try to do your dastardly deeds, a random hero of The City will come out to thwart you! Don't take these thwartings personally, though. It's our job. The superhero is the Telemarketer of Justice and villains are sitting at home, not expecting to be bothered, but bothered they are because their home is a robot that's destroying a bank and then a call comes asking if you'd like to order some law! And the villain says no, but after some stuggle he's convinced to do so! The only difference here is that instead of better rates on their phone bill or weekdays AND Sundays for newspaper delivery, they just purchased a stay in prison."

"There are some costumes in a box there if you really want to get into the whole theme, but they're optional and completely school appropriate."

[OOC: Sorry for getting it up a little later than intended. Writer's block followed by icon making = slight delay. I'll be around all day. Playing 17 NPCs. *sighs at self*

Information on the heroes can be found here and a videoclip with some of them is here!

For the record, I know there are people who will be signing in late in the day. I am totally cool with that. I never want to stop playing this detention until my brain explodes, so I'm good to play it out however long it takes. :D]

Eeee! Laser tag! So cool! Turtle quickly found somewhere to hide, waiting to try and shoot someone. She was aiming for Sokka.

Mel ducked behind a pillar and fired off a shot toward Turtle.

The shot would have probably hit Turtle if she hadn't happened to chose that precise moment to dart across the playing field for a better vantage point. She had been completely unaware that she had even been shot at.

Sokka fired crazily at Turtle, and at Mel. Some of the shots might even have been aimed.

Turtle desperately fired shots right back at Sokka, hoping to get a few in before the laser tag gear started flashing from being hit.

Jaye stares at the gun. "Did you really give me a weapon Even a fake one?"

She'd better be using it. Sokka was using his on her.

"Hey!" Jaye says after getting shot. "What'd I do?"

Sokka giggled scarily and dove behind some cover.

Then he popped up and, cackling like mad, fired at anyone he could see.

Sam didn't even know Sokka, but that didn't stop her from sneaking around behind him and shooting from a well-covered and defensible position.

Kawalsky appeared behind her, but didn't fire. "Wanna win?" he said with a grin, suggesting a team up.

Sam grinned. "Oh, yeah. Got something particular in mind?"

"I was thinking your standard you watch my back, I watch yours, we use our superior tactical skills and put our close quarters urban combat training to good use."

Giggling, Sam asked, "You want to go left, or right?"

"Hmmmmm...right!"

"Got a target in mind?"

Layla was really, really hoping she'd be better at this than the previous activities.

[identity profile] kawalsky.livejournal.com 2007-02-25 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
Kawalsky and Sam were teaming up unfairly. Layla's chances weren't that great. He used hand signals to gesture to Sam what the plan was, then moved into position. Sneaky-like.

Re: Activity 3: Betrayal!

[identity profile] carter-i-am.livejournal.com 2007-02-25 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
Sam was equally sneaky, and she nodded her acceptance of the plan as she moved into position to Layla's left, and waited for the girl to move.

[identity profile] proudsidekick.livejournal.com 2007-02-25 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
Layla was quite oblivious to the handwaving going on around her. She was keeping an eye out for Jaye in particular, and moved forward to try to spot her.

Re: Activity 3: Betrayal!

[identity profile] kawalsky.livejournal.com 2007-02-25 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
Kawalsky took the first shot, enjoying this way too much.

Re: Activity 3: Betrayal!

[identity profile] proudsidekick.livejournal.com 2007-02-25 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
Layla made a surprised noise as she got hit, and turned, firing blindly towards where the shot seemed to have come from.

Re: Activity 3: Betrayal!

[identity profile] carter-i-am.livejournal.com 2007-02-25 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
Sam followed Layla's movement, then fired as she shot wildly at Kawalsky.

Re: Activity 3: Betrayal!

[identity profile] proudsidekick.livejournal.com 2007-02-25 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
"Hey!" Layla yelled, whirling around to try to shoot at Sam as she got hit again.
