Sam had a larger cup of coffee than usual with him this morning as he went to open the library. It's possible that he was still exhausted from the weekend.

Sam had finally figured out how to get Dean to come by the house too, and was watching as they attempted to find something similar to talk about. It was kind of eerily like real life.
