Yomiko had spent the entire weekend holed up in her basement, working on a translation of Russian fairytales for extra cash. So she had no idea anything unusual had happened that weekend. Sometimes, it paid to be oblivious.

He *had* been thinking about going through by himself, but now that he actually thought about it properly, that was a stupid idea. "I could go through tied to something, that way I can get pulled back out."

She smiled. "That sounds like a plan." Katara glanced at his piles of books. "But I should go so I don't keep you from your books." She stood up. "I'll see you tomorrow then."
