Library, Monday [2/19]

Yomiko had spent the entire weekend holed up in her basement, working on a translation of Russian fairytales for extra cash. So she had no idea anything unusual had happened that weekend. Sometimes, it paid to be oblivious.

"I...really don't know," Lucas admitted. "But I'm trying to find out. I think I found a portal that could allow time travel, so I'm trying to figure out how it works."

She looked at the covers. "Heh. Think I'll pass. I'm still back on regular mechanics, not the quantum-y ones."

"Hey, do you know what this is?" She held out the piece of paper she'd been showing the librarian.

She shrugged. "Some guy was signing on it, and there were fireworks. The music was pretty cool. Then they went back to - whatever it was. I don't know, it wasn't blitzball."

She pocketed the paper again. "So are you gonna do that? Time-travel?"
