Detention [Saturday, February 17, all day]

Josh was so, so, so excited to get to play with the big kids today.

He'd even snuck a cup of coffee in the morning before bouncing off towards school.

Don't tell anyone, but coffee was kind of icky.

He was sitting on one of the couches the Danger Shop had provided, swinging his legs back and forth as he waited for the students to show up for detention the big kids to come over.

They were going to have sooooo much fun.

Tori raised an eyebrow at Schoolhouse Rock being on the television. She glanced around wondering where Professor Lyman had gone.

The only person in the room besides the students was a kid. Could it be remotely possible that he was Professor Lyman?

"Hi there." Tori waved back, smiling at the young boy.

"I'm Josh!" he chirped. "Who are you?"

"I'm Tori." She smiled. "It's nice to meet you Josh."

Josh held out his hand to shake like he'd been taught. Polite kid.

"I love Schoolhouse Rock," he said. "I wanna be President when I grow up!"

Tori shook his hand, smiling at him. He was well-mannered, that was always a good thing.

"Schoolhouse Rock is a good show." Tori admitted, having watched it when she was young. "Oh wow, President? That's great. I'm sure you'd be really good at the job."

"I'm really smart," Josh said modestly. "And I can almost tie my own tie. That's important to be President."

"I bet you are." Tori nodded, believing him. "Probably the most important for being President." She grinned.

"Other than not falling down getting off an airplane," Josh said, nodding. "Or being a Republican."

Tori chuckled. "Those, too. Very important." She smiled, amused. Tori was still reeling from the teacher being turned into a child. She really shouldn't be surprised. She had heard stories about these kinds of weekends, but that it had happened to the students. Fandom was being funny, again.
