Yuki stands before the class today looking at them all more coldly than usual. He coughs slightly and begins his lecture.

“Now today I want you to partner up and discuss your basic plots for your stories. Last week you decided the motives of your characters, you want a way to meet or thwart them in the story. Or at least have your characters pursue them. Make sure to note any more minor characters that will be involved and turn in a basic outline to me and we’ll discuss it. I’ll okay it... eventually. And then you can leave.”

“However, before you start, I wanted to tell you something very important about today. Valentine’s Day. It’s a waste of your time. Love is just a fallacy that society pressures you to believe in. You want to know why?”

“The fake idea of "love" sells crap like books and cards and movies and candy. You kids eat it all up. You’re hungry for that feeling they tell you about, it’s just a charade. You think it's something you can actually attain, but you can't because it doesn't exist. It’s just a fabrication to make cold hard cash. Don’t waste your time believing in something ridiculous. Being an adult is all about not caring about stupid feelings like that. Sleep with as many people as you can. That’s all you should worry about. So I hope you all spend your time wisely tonight rather than buying flowers and getting deceived by your peers.”

“Well. That said, get to work.”

After class was over and all the students were gone, Wade ambled into the classroom with a present (http://www.forget-me-notgiftbaskets.com/chocolateaffairval95C.jpg) for his roommate.

Yuki looks at him. He tries to look mean. He tries to look like he totally doesn't care. Or like it. Damn sweettooth! Ruining his masculinity! "Please don't say something like "Be my valentine.""

"Hell no, I like the women." He held out the bouquet of candy. "Happy Valentine's Day, roomie."

"Every time you have to reassert your straightness, I feel more like you're lying." He takes the candy. Mmmm candy...

"I could take the candy back," Deadpool warned him.

"Hey. I'm just speaking the truth." He chuckles.

Wade snagged a chocolate rose for himself. "Not my fault you have screwed up gaydar."

Yuki takes a candy bar and grins slightly. "I suppose not."

(So chocolate sooths the savage beast, good to know.)

"Should I stay out of the house for the evening so my poor virgin won't be defiled by the gay sex?"

Nadia was never one to keep quiet about a subject she had an opinion on. She headed up to Yuki's desk. "I agree completely about the whole love thing. It's a total lie."

Yuki nods. "Good for you Santos. Get them before they get you. If you hold all the cards then you can't lose."

"Can I leave class early to have sex with my boyfriend?" Hey, you never knew, it might work. . . .

[ooc: omg, I hate ice and snow. . . .]

"Welll..." Yuki pauses. "Sure. You can bring your plot outline to my office tomorrow."

"No problem. Thanks!"

"Have fun."

Chuck brought a box into Yuki's classroom.
"Hey, Yuki. I baked some cookies and cupcakes for my class, and I had some extras. Want 'em?"
Nooo, he hadn't made extras on purpose and kept them in his office so that the bottomless teen stomachs wouldn't gobble them up. Don't be silly.

Yuki looks up at him with a slight smile. "Thanks. Sorry I haven't stopped by."

Chuck set the box on Yuki's desk and waved away the apology. "It's no problem. I've been busy with work anyway."

"That's my problem too. Having two jobs was a stupid idea on my part."

"What's your other job?"

"I write professionally."

Chuck looked impressed. "Fiction, or research?"

Yuki cracked a grin. "Fiction."

Chuck smiled. "Good. I can't say that I understand people who do reasearch for a living." He thought for a second. "I don't think I've read any of your books, though."
