Creative Writing, Period 6 2/14
Yuki stands before the class today looking at them all more coldly than usual. He coughs slightly and begins his lecture.
“Now today I want you to partner up and discuss your basic plots for your stories. Last week you decided the motives of your characters, you want a way to meet or thwart them in the story. Or at least have your characters pursue them. Make sure to note any more minor characters that will be involved and turn in a basic outline to me and we’ll discuss it. I’ll okay it... eventually. And then you can leave.”
“However, before you start, I wanted to tell you something very important about today. Valentine’s Day. It’s a waste of your time. Love is just a fallacy that society pressures you to believe in. You want to know why?”
“The fake idea of "love" sells crap like books and cards and movies and candy. You kids eat it all up. You’re hungry for that feeling they tell you about, it’s just a charade. You think it's something you can actually attain, but you can't because it doesn't exist. It’s just a fabrication to make cold hard cash. Don’t waste your time believing in something ridiculous. Being an adult is all about not caring about stupid feelings like that. Sleep with as many people as you can. That’s all you should worry about. So I hope you all spend your time wisely tonight rather than buying flowers and getting deceived by your peers.”
“Well. That said, get to work.”
((OOC: Feel free to handwave, but as always, real material means real responses and don't hesitate to call his bluff. Hah. Or TRY to. Have a wonderful Valentine's Day!))

"How come all your people are gonna die?"
Re: Partners
So his little anti-love speech was accented by a few spitballs. Turtle really wished she had better aim...

"Thanks, by the way," she added, with a smirk and a little tilt of her head to show him how she'd weaved the rose he'd gotten her into her braid. At least, she was pretty certain it was him. She was certainly clever enough to deciepher who JGjr could be.

...He was almost making this too easy.

Not knowing how to respond to that, she just flicked another spitball at him. "Sounds like someone just needs a hug," she commented.

And the giving me of detention, dammit.

Hey, she was doing her work now. So what if, on occasion, she still flicked a tiny bullet of paper in Yuki's general direction?

"Mine's got someone staying in a potentially haunted house to win an inheritance, but I haven't decided if it really is haunted, or if it's all just a fluke..."
