fandomhigh | Superheroing Fashion Show- The auditorium, Friday after classes

The stage of the auditorium is done up with a dark-looking backdrop of a city at night, and there's even some dramatic lighting going on. There's even a very pretty silver runner on the catwalk that's shown up, just so everyone has something to follow when they walk out. And a smoke machine, just because hey, it looks cool. However, since it's Fosse the janitor working the machine, there might be a lot of smoke at some times.

Captain Liberty's in costume when she takes the stage, microphone in hand. "Hello, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the Superheroing Fashion Show. We have a great bunch of very talented people here who are learning how to fight and defend the common good, so why not show your appreciation for them, their future work, and their fashion choices!"

And, maybe she should have checked people's outfits beforehand, huh? At least made sure they were decent? Oh, well, it can't be that bad.

"Me neither." Billy lied. "But I supose they have their reasons. Sometimes it's religous, sometimes they feel they're being oppressed and they think it's their only option. sometimes they're megalomaniacs who want to rule the world."

"Violence is never the only option." Ami said sadly, shaking her head.

Billy wanted to change the subject now. "So tell me about this Sailor V." he said.

Ami noticed the change, but went with it. "Well she is a girl, she fights Youma, she has a mask and special powers..."

"Youma?"

Ami tried to explain. "They are these monsters that feed on energy. They sometimes appear all around and attack people."

"Weird. What kind of powers does she have?"

"I think she has this chain that flies out and ties up her enemies" Ami tried to explain. "And um... she can transform into her secret identity costume magically."

Kinky. "Sounds convenient, easier to switch identities that way."

"She is very cool. She saves people all the time. When i was littler, i wanted to be just like her."

Billy smiled at the image of wee tiny Ami dressed as a superhero.

"What?"

"I just got an image of you as a little kid in a cape and superhero jammies."

Ami giggled. "nono, Sailor V has high heels and a sailor fuku and a domino mask. No cape."

And now Billy had an entirely different image in his head, fortunately it was of Ami at the age she was now.

"Okay yeah that would have looked weird on a little kid."

"Yup. That is what my mother said when i asked for the outfit." Ami grinned. "And i would feel kind of silly dressing up that way now."

"I think you'd look good." he smiled.

That made Ami blink. "I'd dress up like her... If you dress up like a pirate." Ami grinned.

Billy grinned. "Actually I've been considering bribing John into making me a fancy wooden peg leg." he admitted.

"Oh yeah? how fancy?"

"John mentioned sculpting something that ended in a claw clutching a globe."

"Wouldn't that be weird to walk on?"

"I could get used to it." Billy said confidently.

"I am sure." Ami was dubious. "Could be cool." She attempted to visualize Billy with a claw-leg."

"Just need to scrounge up the rest of the outfit. I bet Pippi could help with that. Maybe Barbossa if I bribe him with Rum."
