Superheroing Fashion Show- The auditorium, Friday after classes

The stage of the auditorium is done up with a dark-looking backdrop of a city at night, and there's even some dramatic lighting going on. There's even a very pretty silver runner on the catwalk that's shown up, just so everyone has something to follow when they walk out. And a smoke machine, just because hey, it looks cool. However, since it's Fosse the janitor working the machine, there might be a lot of smoke at some times.

Captain Liberty's in costume when she takes the stage, microphone in hand. "Hello, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the Superheroing Fashion Show. We have a great bunch of very talented people here who are learning how to fight and defend the common good, so why not show your appreciation for them, their future work, and their fashion choices!"

And, maybe she should have checked people's outfits beforehand, huh? At least made sure they were decent? Oh, well, it can't be that bad.

[OCD is a coming up! Everyone's got their own thread to strut, so work it. Audience, please wait for the Superheroing student to ping into their thread before reacting.
Also, showing everyone to this post with a reminder to only attack those who signed up for it. As stated in the post, only throw things that won't make too big a mess or hurt anyone.]

Yeah, Dick was here for the ladies in tight spandex. He was still trying to think up of a different reason for being here in case anyone asked.

Re: Cassie

[identity profile] robotboyfetish.livejournal.com 2007-02-09 04:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Cassie's costume was quite comfy, as a suit that actually conformed to the shape of your body was bound to be. She decided against growing as part of showing off the costume, as she didn't know how structurally sound the stage was. She instead simply did a little twirl.

Re: Miley

[identity profile] otherside-miley.livejournal.com 2007-02-09 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
"This is a mis-take." Miley muttered before walking out on stage. She had figured that with the name Miss Normal there didn't need to be a lot of bells and whistles on her costume. So she was wearing regular (http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a144/footontheground/missnormal.jpg) clothes and a mask. Strutting to the end of the runway, she flashed a peace sign at the audience and grinned.

John jumps on stage, decked out in tight green tights, green boots and a poncho. Yep.

He struts downstage, twirls his poncho around, pretends to disappear into said poncho before strutting back up the stage.

Re: Peter Petrelli

[identity profile] repeterpetrelli.livejournal.com 2007-02-09 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Peter facepalmed at the introduction, but decided to make the best of it. He strutted out onto the runway wearing his trenchcoat and a pair of The Grid-like sunglasse. That is, assuming pink rims were allowed in The Grid. Hey - had to try to give Mac a giggle somehow, right?

Also inspired by his meeting with Mac, Peter's coat had multi-colored post-its on the pockets which read "Amazing tools go here."

Peter did his best to try to strike as many Project Runway poses as he could remember. It was possible he was smiling with his eyes, but with the glasses on who could tell?

Re: Ranma

[identity profile] ranma-sao.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
Ranma is not happy about this at all. Somewhere in his brain he thought it might be better to be a girl for this, since it was a better disguise. He has a little black strip of cloth tied around his head, the generic superhero mask with eyeholes. He's wearing a red chinese outfit that was stuffed at the bottom of his bag since he got here. His dad must have bought it for some scheme at some point... it was fairly form fitting, more so than his usual outfits.

Buffy walked hesitantly on stage dressed in black pants and a sweater with her cheerleader outfit over (http://pics.livejournal.com/1ordinarygirl/pic/000gk9ph). She had a pom pom in one hand and a stake in the other. She smiled, hoping she didn't look too silly.

Pippi is really glad she ditched the blond wig and hat as she strode out and stopped for a moment to strike an appropriately piratical yet heroic pose before heading down the runway. (http://farm1.static.flickr.com/110/363715386_04cf506138.jpg?v=0)

Bridge pretty much bounces out on stage in his costume. Which bears a strong resemblance to the uniforms used by a certain Ninja Academy- he'd had to ditch the Ranger uniform idea when he couldn't figure out a way to make a proper helmet.

Deep in Edward's mind, Henry gave a mental shrug.
You have to give her credit for trying.
Not really, no.

Edward walked out onto the runway.

Re: Jamie

Jamie came out and waved at his adoring fans. "Hello Daaaaaahlings. I'm very proud not to show you just one fabulous out fit but several you'll be seeing from the Madrox line.

Jamie nodded as a the first duplicate walked out in a green and gold number (http://www.uncannyxmen.net/images/costume/multiple-bigcostume1.jpg) "One of the many things that are in this year is the retro luck. The skin tight green spandex hints at spring with just a trace of the metallics that everyone just seems to be going for these days.

The next model (http://www.uncannyxmen.net/images/costume/multiple-bigcostume2.jpg) came in an a blue and gold number. "This number is perfect for a night out on the town or for joining a government sponsored mutant task force. The should pads at a nice shout out to the 80's without being too dramatic."

Then the next model came out dressed mostly in leather (http://www.uncannyxmen.net/images/costume/multiple-bigcostume4.jpg). "Of course nothing says style more than black leather. This little number protects the head with additional padding and the red trim adds just a touch of class."

The next model came out looking like... well Jamie (http://www.uncannyxmen.net/images/costume/multiple-bigcostume5.jpg). "And when you think of casual? You can't go wrong with Madrox trademark t-shirt with jeans. Perfect for class or a night out with friends without being horribly formal."

"Finally there's what I call the camouflage style," Jamie said gesturing to his next model (http://www.livejournal.com/userpic/53933273/9816164). "Perfect for infiltrating a normal office setting and escaping notice. Unless you roll out on your own accord which I don't recommend."

Then all the models came out and did one more walk/roll down the runway with Jamie following behind them and waving like the costume designer he is.

Re: Molly

Molly was proud of her costume (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v165/Minion_of_Truth/Fandom%20High/Princess-Powerful.gif). She was just sad that she'd forgotten the hat.

With a determined expression, Molly walked down the runway, trying to be as intimidating as a 5'4" girl dressed in pink could be. She stopped briefly at the end of the runway to brandish a fist. Her eyes glowed pink.

Re: Peter Griffin

Peter went old school with his costume. So that meant spandex and a lot of it. Green spandex to be precise, with yellow shorts. Every delicious curve was outlined.

He was also sporting a green Zorro-like mask and yellow letters that said "R.I.B." were written across his chest.

And yes, he walked like he had no shame.

Ditching the jacket backstage, Will stepped out on stage in her costume (http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/2229/will041ls.jpg). This would have been the first time she'd worn it out in public here at Fandom High. She smiled widely, and quietly prayed that everything would go well.

Re: Peter Parker

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2007-02-10 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
Peter, clad in his patched up black leatherish costume, strutted down the runway with a lot more confidence than he tended to show when his face wasn't hidden by a mask. He posed a few times, then fired a web up towards the ceiling and posed upside down, hanging from the web.
