Fitness - Monday February 5th

"Good Morning everyone!" Yondaime said cheerfully as always, as he came into class. He moved a little slower than usual and sat down as soon as he was able. "Today we are continuing with jujutsu, combining the striking, locks and take downs into a full and complete fight. I want you working in pairs that I am going to assign. I want you to do your best, as you will be graded on your work today."

Yondaime carefully moved out the mats so that each pair would have one to work with. "The same rules as before apply, we are not striking to hurt each other, only to immobilize. The teams for today will be Ed and Kyou, Kabuto and Pip, Gwen and Sakura, if anyone doesn’t show up then I shall be their partner." Yondaime smiled and stretched with a slight groan. "Now go warm up and then hit the mats."

"Oh, it's on now!"

Kyo dodged the kick, and came up on the alchemist's side. He grabbed Edward's shoulder and prepared to put it in one of the holds they had been taught, hoping that his open left side wouldn't be noticed.

Edward tried to twist himself out of the hold instead, reaching his right arm back to grab Kyo's shirt with one hand.

A sharp knee to his stomach rectified that situation. "Give it up, pint-size!"

Okay, that hurt. Edward coughed and doubled up, dropping to his knees.

Izumi would have his ass, this guy wasn't half as good as Al. Edward scooted away and got back to his feet, shakily resuming his basic position. "I'm going to get you for that..."

In the blink of an eye, Yondaime was between the two of them, holding them back with a deep frown. Don't ask how he got there so fast from across the room, it was one of his special ninja moves.

"I believe I told you to hold your tempers," he said coldly to them.

Edward did not move out of his stance. "I won't be letting that happen again," he breathed, eyeing Kyo from around Yondaime.

"It better not," he continued to frown, looking at both boys in the eye to make sure they understood how serious he was about this. "Both of you take a lap to cool down. When you come back, Kabuto will monitor you. If this continues, both of you will have detention."

He stood there until they both took off running and then went to speak with Kabuto.
