Fitness - Monday February 5th

"Good Morning everyone!" Yondaime said cheerfully as always, as he came into class. He moved a little slower than usual and sat down as soon as he was able. "Today we are continuing with jujutsu, combining the striking, locks and take downs into a full and complete fight. I want you working in pairs that I am going to assign. I want you to do your best, as you will be graded on your work today."

Yondaime carefully moved out the mats so that each pair would have one to work with. "The same rules as before apply, we are not striking to hurt each other, only to immobilize. The teams for today will be Ed and Kyou, Kabuto and Pip, Gwen and Sakura, if anyone doesn’t show up then I shall be their partner." Yondaime smiled and stretched with a slight groan. "Now go warm up and then hit the mats."

"No, indeed not. Though thankfully with those two I've found they're mostly talk," he sighed, but continued to keep an eye on them.

"Enjoying your visit so far?"

"Talk... can be even more painful than violence if applied directly," Batman said with a dramatic pause after the first word. "But even more painful than that is a bomb."

"Anyway, it's still early in my visit, but everything has gone well so far. Tell me, what do you do to help these students with their fitness?"

Yondaime winced at the mention of a bomb and rubbed his side. "Yes, yes, bombs are quite painful," he agreed.

"That's a tought one," Yondaime admitted rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "We've actually been doing quite well in class. A minor concern that I have is that apart from lunch, the students have to provide their own meals. Often times probably choosing options that aren't the best for them."

"I think I see where you're going with this," Batman said. "But making students climb apple trees for their meals - while encouraging physical activity and giving a healthy meal - is impractical during the winter." Batman was possibly too used to needlessly complicated plans.

"..... Uh... yes. Very impractical and a lawsuit waiting to happen." Totally not what Yondaime meant.

"What might work is a cafeteria that's open for all meals..."

"If we could get the trees planted in the cafeteria and provide the students with stepladders, we'd still be getting some of the desired effect," Batman said. "Good thinking, friend!"

"Uh... any time," he sighed, getting the feeling that Batman was the kind of guy that once an idea was in his head; it was stuck. He glanced over at Kyou and Ed again and frowned deeply. "Please excuse me."

In a blink, he was gone and breaking up the two boys.

"Any time," Batman said. He stuck around for a few more moments to note that the students were indeed physically fit, then wandered off to explore the school a bit more.

Kabuto pondered following Batman. He really gave the idea serious thought. But he was actually being a Good Boy and not making Yondaime look bad. Even though the sadistic part of him wanted to.
