Library [02/02]

Rory came in bright and early and smacked a poster on the door before positioning herself behind the desk as usual with her coffee.

She grabbed a stack of books, and spent the day deep in research - both her own personal problem, and for the problems with the shadows.

[I'm AFK most of the day, so please mod Rory if you need help with something. Wait for OCD is up and a little different today. Please wait for further OCD on the specific research thread, as it will be coming later while I am unconscious and people in Europe are not. That OCD is up, too! Whooooo!]

Greg wandered into the library, shivering and translucent and with his roommate on his heels. "I guess we're looking stuff up. I don't know how that's going to work since I can't, y'know, turn pages."

Lucas shrugged. "That's what non-geeks are for, right? The big, beefy types with not much upstairs? Manual work."

"...do we have anyone like that here?" Greg wondered.

"There was a big guy in Forensics," Lucas shrugged. "I don't know if he's smart, but in my experience, the bigger the muscles, the smaller the brain power."

"Did you get shoved in lockers, too?" Greg asked with a weak laugh.

Lucas resisted the urge to roll his eyes and only partially succeeded. He nodded. "I was younger than my classmates and had a big mouth. Still have a big mouth," he grinned.

"They didn't like my hair," Greg commented. "Or that I'm smarter. So into lockers I went. And they were never smart enough to figure out when I got them back."

"Yeah, a lot of my old classmates have criminal records or bad credit ratings now. Wonder why that is."
