Rory came in bright and early and smacked a poster on the door before positioning herself behind the desk as usual with her coffee.

She grabbed a stack of books, and spent the day deep in research - both her own personal problem, and for the problems with the shadows.

[I'm AFK most of the day, so please mod Rory if you need help with something. Wait for OCD is up and a little different today. Please wait for further OCD on the specific research thread, as it will be coming later while I am unconscious and people in Europe are not. That OCD is up, too! Whooooo!]

Katara smiled, happy he was agreeing with her. "And I am. Besides, you're helping more than I am right now since the books don't make sense to me."

"They don't?" Zack asked.

"Our writing's different," she said, looking a bit embarrassed. "I can't read yours."

"I see," Zack nodded. "Do you know if your writing is similar to any of the alphabets around here? If it is there might be some books in here you can read that we can't."

She nodded. "Bridge and Setsuna said it was like Chinese. So if there any books like that, I could try to read them." She grinned. "And continue on the hot chocolate mission."

"Considering how cold it is, that's even more heroic," Zack grinned. "And, Katara, if you ever want help trying to learn our writing, I don't know how good I'd be, but..."
