Music is Love: [2/2] - Period 3
There's a flash of light and the stage is alive with the Music is Love theme song. Lorne dashes onto the stage with a grin on his face and most likely a song in his heart.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome once again to MUSIC IS LOVE!" Lorne said bowing to the canned applause. "I know you all are on pins and needles today just wondering who oh who could those mystery judges be! You must be on the edge of your seat! I'm so excited I just might squeal in girlish glory when they walk out."
"Ladies! Gentlemen! Children of all ages... Your judges are:"
Lorne waited for a suspenseful moment.
And then another.
And then another two or three moments.
He takes a deep breath...
And lets it out.
Then a drumroll starts.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! I give you... DARTH VADER AND ARTIE! THE STRONGEST MAN IN THE WORLD!"
Somebody must have cranked up the applause volume because it is quite loud.
Not quite as loud as the judges' personal theme music which appears to be a musical selection from Space Battles accompanied by a slide whistle, arm pit farting sounds and a kazoo.
Lorne smiles as he heads towards the judges table. "Our theme this week is Heroes and Villains. Let's see what our students have selected as their songs this week."

Re: Sing! [2/2]
I've been a bad bad girl
I've been careless with a delicate man
And it's a sad sad world
When a girl will break a boy
Just because she can
Don't you tell me to deny it
I've done wrong and I want to
Suffer for my sins
I've come to you 'cause I need
Guidance to be true
And I just don't know where I can begin
What I need is a good defense
'Cause I'm feelin' like a criminal
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I've sinned against
Because he's all I ever knew of love
Heaven help me for the way I am
Save me from these evil deeds
Before I get them done
I know tomorrow brings the consequence
At hand
But I keep livin' this day like
The next will never come
Oh help me but don't tell me
To deny it
I've got to cleanse myself
Of all these lies till I'm good
Enough for him
I've got a lot to lose and I'm
Bettin' high
So I'm beggin' you before it ends
Just tell me where to begin
What I need is a good defense
'Cause I'm feelin' like a criminal
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I've sinned against
Because he's all I ever knew of love
Let me know the way
Before there's hell to pay
Give me room to lay the law and let me go
I've got to make a play
To make my lover stay
So what would an angel say
The devil wants to know
What I need is a good defense
'Cause I'm feelin' like a criminal
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I've sinned against
Because he's all I ever knew of love
What I need is a good defense
'Cause I'm feelin' like a criminal
And I need to be redeemed
To the one I've sinned against
Because he's all I ever knew of love

The lyrics hit just a little close to home.
"You have stupid hair, too," he commented.

He continued to babble quietly about bluesy singers for a bit before jerking himself back to attention and looking about for the next singer.
