fandomhigh | Revolutions: Week 4 Period 5

Anyone coming into class today will find that someone had gotten there early. That particular someone also barricaded off the majority of the classroom with a pile of desk and chairs.

That particular someone was also standing on top of the barricade with his trenchcoat billowing dramatically. (Actually it was just two dupes standing behind Jamie flapping the end of his trenchcoat)

"Makers of mischief and revolution!" Jamie called out to his fellow students. "Last weeks class was a sham! The monarchy was not the true power in this classroom!"

(Several dramatic gasps were heard. Again from the dupes)

"I know! I know!" Jamie said waving his hands. "I was shocked too! The real dictator? The one taking our rights away? The one who assigns us homework?"

Jamie put a mock serious look and pointed dramatically at another certain someone. "She's right there. Alianne of Pirate's Swoop and the Copper Isles! Join me my brothers! Help me overthrow her from her position and demand the rights and privleges that we so deserve!"

Aly looked amused when she entered the classroom. But then she generally did so it wasn't all that different from normal.

She leaned against the door and raised an eyebrow at Jamie, waiting for him to give the colourful explanation that surely was coming.

Well Jamie seems to be in a singing mood.

Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!

Aly's eyebrow rose higher. "You don't say."

"Greetings dictator! We will no longer bow to your rule unless changes are made!" Jamie said cheerfully.

"Demands, hmm?" Aly asked. "So not just an excuse for singing and shirtlessness?"

"Not at all! We know your class project was a sham! There is no monarchy here! Just you! In charge!" Jamie proclaimed. "So we have taken over until you admit that you are the master and the rest of them are just puppets. Also? We want a coffee machine, pastries every Tuesday and no more homework."

Aly grinned. "That needed to be spelled out? I figured you were all smart enough to recognise that. As for the rest, they are in the Common Rooms, J.GOB, and no."

"Other teachers provide goodies, treats and beverages! You are denying our right to overeat and gain weight like a responsible American!" Jamie protested.

"I'm not American," she pointed out.

Seely grinned and waved. "Greetings Glorious Overlord Aly!"

Aly grinned back. "And greetings to you, my fine student. We don't wear shirts anymore?"

"The revolutionaries have stooped to bribery as a tactic," Seely replied. "I'm merely showing that we have some resources of our own."

There was actually a second where Aly had to pause to remind herself that she couldn't really flirt with a student.

"Naturally," she said. "Had any converts so far?"

Seely sighed. "Not yet, I'm afraid," he said. "I think we may need to step up to boykissy for that."

Aly laughed. "I feel the need to point out that the girls who might be attracted by boykissy are already on this side of the room."

"But what about the boys who might be attracted to boykissy?"

"Tyrant!"

Aly looked both innocent and shocked. "Hardly!"

"Are too."

Aly stuck her tongue out at him then looked shocked at herself.

"Can't prove nothing."

"Don't need to. All I have to do is spread the rumor that you're a tyrant and get as many people as possible to believe it."

Aly grinned. "Guess that would depend on how good my counter-intelligence is, wouldn't it."

"Yeah, not so much. I have Jamie."

"Hey, if you're going to depend upon someone else's skills..."

"Wait! Did Skipper say Aly's a tyrant?"

"He did!"

"Skipper wouldn't lie to us would he?"

"No way! He's the skipper!"

"So it must be true!"

"LET'S TELL EVERYONE!"

And then a whole bunch of Jamie leave the barricade to skip through the school singing "ALY'S A TYRANT! ALY'S A TYRANT! ALY'S A TYRANT! LALALALALA!"
