Anyone coming into class today will find that someone had gotten there early. That particular someone also barricaded off the majority of the classroom with a pile of desk and chairs.

That particular someone was also standing on top of the barricade with his trenchcoat billowing dramatically. (Actually it was just two dupes standing behind Jamie flapping the end of his trenchcoat)

"Makers of mischief and revolution!" Jamie called out to his fellow students. "Last weeks class was a sham! The monarchy was not the true power in this classroom!"

(Several dramatic gasps were heard. Again from the dupes)

"I know! I know!" Jamie said waving his hands. "I was shocked too! The real dictator? The one taking our rights away? The one who assigns us homework?"

Jamie put a mock serious look and pointed dramatically at another certain someone. "She's right there. Alianne of Pirate's Swoop and the Copper Isles! Join me my brothers! Help me overthrow her from her position and demand the rights and privleges that we so deserve!"

[ooc: ~~Wait for~~ OCD is up! Class hijacked with permission!]

"Those are rights that should not be denied! These are certain inalienable rights!"

Aly just looked at him, eyebrow raised.

"I can't believe you would deny our right to Pie and Coffee."

"Not at all," Aly replied smoothly. "I deny my responsibility in providing you with tasty treats."

"Fine! You can take away our pie BUT YOU WILL NEVER TAKE AWAY OUR FREEDOM!"

And then there is more singing:

Will you give all you can give
So that our banner may advance
Some will fall and some will live
Will you stand up and take your chance?
The blood of the martyrs
Will water the seat of Seely's pants!

And that's when a bunch of Jamies appear on the barricade to sing with Jamie

Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!

And that was when Aly started giggling.

She shook her head. "Singing and barricades to nowhere. Really?"

"I'm barricading you from the pie! And coffee! A heavenly combination that cannot be denied. I also have no problem staying in your classroom until our demands are met," Jamie replied.

"You may stay here as long as you like," Aly replied with a grin and a shrug. "But I would like some coffee."

"Okay! I will bring coffee during class and office hours in return for no homework!" Jamie said thinking this was a superb deal.

Aly, having few plans to assign homework, nodded. "Deal. No homework for you."

"No homework for everyone!" Jamie said firmly.

Aly grinned. "Okay."

"YAY!" Jamie said dancing in victory.

"And make sure you clean up the barricade, hmm?" she said. She winked at him, considering mentioning that only the first time was funny but decided against it.
