Upon entering the Danger~~room~~shop, the students would notice that it looked as though they stepped out into the parking lot. In the middle of the empty lot was a red VW Beetle and Deadpool leaning against it, grinning like a maniac. So, essentially he was smiling normally.

"Good morning little monsters who I'm constantly tempted to kill, but am restrained from doing so by the fact that I won't get paid if I do." Another happy grin, completely with a little head tilt. "We're driving for real today on a specially designed obstacle course, The Suburban Neighborhood. Stop signs, yield signs and children crossing signs galore!"

He held up a set of keys, jingling it like one would to amuse a baby. "I'll only be able to take you out one group at a time, and only one person from each group gets to drive sadly, but the other two can sit in the backseat and pray that we don't fly off a cliff and crash in a ball of fiery fiery death," Wade said in an attempt to cheer them all up. "The rest of you will wait here until it's your car's turn to go, please no alcohol, fighting, boykissy or flash photography while I'm gone."

Deadpool vaguely wondered if all the abuse from before destroyed the clutch the point where the car would move without it. That made him sad. Very, very sad.

"Good job! Now, we're going out onto that street there," He said, pointing to a moderately busy residential street. "Don't hit any children or puppies, the mess would be horrible to clean up."

"There's going to be children and puppies already?" Cedric looked vaguely terrified.

"There could be," Deadpool said seriously. "Are you prepared to deal with the consequences when you run over a small adorable puppy?"

"No," he said but he lurched the car forward anyway.

"And we look both ways for cars and puppies before turning onto the street, right?"

"Right," he said, looking both ways. Upon seeing it clear, he lurched the car out into the street...

...and immediately hit the brakes.

Why did the kids insist on trying to injure Deadpool?

Once he peeled himself off the dashboard and windshield, he stared as Cedric. "Puppy?"

"I thought I saw a bird," he explained. "Or maybe it was just dust. Sorry."

"Dust, a bird, I can see where you could make that mistake." Oh, he was so going to have a nervous twitch from this. "Now, try to remember that dust is much smaller than a bird and that I haven't had enough coffee or alcohol this morning and am a little tense."

He nodded. "Yes, sir."

Cedric eased on the gas pedal again and started the car going...extremely slowly. Hey, he was used to a broom.

"You can go faster than that, I think the dust will still be safe if you go, oh, just a smidgen faster."

"All right," he said and pushed down on the gas pedal. The car sped up and Cedric white knuckled the steer wheel.

Deadpool turned on the radio, because that was supposed to be relaxing, right?

"Hey Mickey!" He clapped in time with the music. "Turn right there."

"Right where?" Cedric asked quickly.

"Aaaaand we've passed it." He turned and shook his head at Cedric. "Now we're lost, horribly lost. Are you happy now? Huh? Huh?!"

Deadpool paused and glared at him before grinning suddenly. "I'm just kidding with you, turn right at the next street."

Good thing Deadpool added that last bit or Cedric might've freaked out...a little more than he was already doing.

He flipped his signal on and turned at the street, slowly. Acceleration and now they were moving a little too quickly.

The acceleration was a step up from moving as fast an an elderly snail.

"And now right again up at the next street, and please don't hit the dust in the road, the poor innocent dust."

Cedric took the turn too quickly, panicked for a moment, and the car ended up skidding around the turn due to Cedric applying the brakes as hard as he could.

He really stunk at this.

"grumble mumble students stab them all grumble."

There had never been a day where the little 'Oh shit' handle above the passenger side window had gotten more use.

"Okay, you're going to work on SLOWLY pressing the break when you turn so we don't do that again."

He nodded almost frantically and looked around to make sure he hadn't hit any puppies or children or dust. "Sorry."

And look at that, just across the street was a puppy and a small child. What could come of this?

"Now, let's continue," Deadpool said, finally buckling up.

And now they were slowly making their way to cross the street directly in front of the car. Like you do.

Cedric honked the horn at the puppy and child. Because...well, really, he didn't know. He thought it might be an alert for them to be way or something.

Nope, they continued on their merry way, the child stopping to tie his shoe right in front of the car.

"Why aren't we going?" Deadpool asked, seemingly oblivious to the puppy/child issues.

"Because I don't want to hit the child," Cedric answered. "Wouldn't that be bad?"

"Are you sure it's a child? Are sure it isn't just more dust?"
