Fitness - Monday - January 29th - 3rd period

In the class today, there were large cushioned pads on the floor enough for at least a few people to work in pairs and there was Yondaime, another year older, but no worse for wear. He smiled at everyone pleasantly as he stood at the front of the class. "I hope you all had a good week and weekend; I know mine was interesting." He shifted and crossed his arms, still trying to banish the nightmares Jiraiya’s latest book gave him.

"Today we are continuing what we started last week with jujutsu. If you remember last week we covered Atemi; defending and striking,” Yondaime smirked. "Something some of you got a little too into..." He said throwing an amused look at Ed and Kyou.

"Now, that is just one aspect of what they call Kuzushi, which is the art of breaking your opponents balance in attacking. Defending and striking are just the beginning steps to this technique that help you move on to taking down your opponent through the use of locks or throws, which we are covering today." He moved over to the mats and motioned for Kabuto to join him. "Let me demonstrate here with Kabuto. First I will show you a throw and then a lock, then you will move into pairs to work on your own. Again I must stress that we are not striking to hurt, only to unbalance."

Yondaime moved in front of Kabuto, nodding to him as the white-haired boy nodded back with a smirk. Neither of them moved for a moment, waiting for the other to strike first. The blond sighed in frustration; he really should have known that Kabuto would be like that, but like hell he was going to let the kid throw him. Kabuto moved when Yondaime was least expecting it, and nearly got him. The former Hokage still moved just a fraction faster, and grabbed the smaller ninja quickly into a lock with the boy’s hands captured and an arm around his neck. "This is a lock, it’s rather self explanatory. It disables your opponent from moving without doing permanent damage, though it is very easy to cause pain if you wished." He looked at everyone pointedly. "Which we are not doing here."

"Now the throw starts off from a similar stance, however strange it may seem, the easiest method for it is to actually expose your back to the opponent so that they begin to get you into a lock." He said motioning for Kabuto to do so, wrapping his arms around the Hokage’s neck… a little too tightly. "Grab a hold of your opponent so that you have a firm grip and using your shoulder as leverage and bending your knees, throw him over your head." Yondaime explained showing them a standard jujutsu throw, which Kabuto did not look happy about at all and continued to hold onto Yondaime’s jacket, nearly pulling the man down with him. Yondaime gave a sheepish smile to everyone and a glare at Kabuto.. "Now break into pairs and work on your own. Kabuto, you can let go now."

[OCD going... going...up! PS: Kabuto modded with permission.]
