Detention - The Danger Shop (January 27)

"You're all here because you're bad, bad little children." He looked at Deadpool. "And bad, bad little masked professors." He looked at the lottery winners. "Or because you have bad luck. Whatever. Shut up and get in the maze." He pointed to the rest of the Danger Shop, which was set up as a giant hedged labyrinth. "Leave any weapons you shouldn't have anyway over there," he looked pointedly at one or two of the detainees. No, just one really. "Take a packed lunch." He pointed to the bags. "You're gonna need it. Get in there, complete the four tasks along the way and get the prize off the thing guarding it. Or you could sit there and look like a girl and get detention again next week."

When you finally reach the center of the maze, you find yourself face to face with a big minotaur. That is, a hulking man with the head and feet of a bull. He looks pretty peeved that you woke him up. He's guarding a gold statue that looks like an Oscar, but has the head of Hades.

Avert your eyes, children! He's nekkid. And ugly. But probably misunderstood.

Figure out a way to get the minotaur to give you the statue. Or just defeat him. Whatever.

"Hey. Sorry to wake you. Can I borrow that statue?" Billy was carefull to look at the dude's face.

"No," the minotaur grunted.

"Please?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because I said no."

"Why'd you say no?" Billy was prepared for a fight if it came down to it, but he was hoping that could be avoided.

"Because."

Molly walked right up to the minotaur and grinned at him. "Sorry," she said. And then she hit him.

The minotaur went flying backwards through hedge after hedge until he was out of sight and knocked out.

Molly walked over and picked up the statue.

Molly would have found herself back with Hades, who was doing a slow golf clap.

Molly beamed at him. "Thank you Mr. Vice Principal Hades! Detention was fun!"

"Hey there, man." Blair was feeling pretty good about this so far and he waved. "I like your horns!"

The Minotaur grunted. "Thank you." He felt it was only polite to return the compliment. "I like your...hair. It is very fuzzy."

"Thanks, man! It takes a lot of product." Blair sighed. "Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to shave it all off and go bald. It's not a bad look on you."

The Minotaur may have pouted. It was hard to tell. "Never had long hair. Want long hair."

"Aww, that sucks man." Blair frowned. "Have you tried a wig or maybe Rogaine?"

He grunted and shook his head. "Do you..." He grunted again. "Think I would look good with long hair?"

"Yeah, man! We just need to figure out what look you need." Blair tilted his head to side to check out the Minotaur and finally nodded. "Something long and black, to bring out your cheekbones and horns."

Dick eyed the minotaur, thinking of a way to get the statue without getting punched in the face. He dug around into his pocket and pulled out his wallet. He winced when he noticed that the money flow in there was a little lighter than usual.

"Ok um...I've got forty-five bucks, three tic-tacs and..." Dick pulled out a shiny card out of his wallet. "A membership card to Madame Sassy's Shop O' Sexy Fun located in Neptune, California. You can get some good magazines there."

"So what do ya say? All this for that ugly little statue?" Dick says, waving the Madame Sassy's card at him.

The Minotaur pulled out his own wallet (and really, it's best not to ask where it came from since he had no visible pockets) and looked inside. He had a chip for a casino in Thrace, some old betting slips and a half-filled stamp voucher for Subway. He grunted. "Okay."

Dick smirked. "I see you have brains as well as brawn sir. Here you go!"

He was gonna miss that Madame Sassy's card.

The Minotaur took the card with a grunt of thanks and handed over the statue.

If Dick was to take it, he would find himself back with Hades, who was doing a slow golf clap.
