The music plays, the light show is even more fabulous than last week and Lorne leaps onto the stage to the delight of canned applause.

"Welcome to Music is Love! And despite the similarities I am not Randy Jackson. Dog. I am LORNE!"

More canned cheers.

"Thank you! Thank you! You're too kind. Today our theme is Punk Bubblegum in honor of our guests: Skank Zero Hopeless-Savage and Hannah Montana!"

Lorne settles down at the judges table, "C'mon kids. Show Fandom what you got."

As soon as Miley was finished she darted off the stage and back to the corner where she had dumped the Hannah wig.

Putting the wig back on and changing back into the much more flashy Hannah-clothes, Miley put the phone back to her ear and walked back towards the judging table. "...and that's final. I've got to go."

"Oh, did I miss it? That's too bad."

[zomg, done spamming myself now!]

"That's okay! I'm sure Miley would love to sing for you again," Lorne said with a slightly mischievous grin. "Oh Smiley! Smiley? Where'd you go kid?"

"No!" Miley said, giving Lorne a glare and trying to cover it with a shake of her head. "It wouldn't be fair to everyone else. Plus, I'm pretty busy. I've got...uh..autograph signing after this!"

"Oh I'm sure no one else would mind. Plus it's always pretty rock star to arrive fashionably late..."

"..." Miley flailed for a moment, trying to figure out if it was better to fake a phone call or make a trip to the bathroom. "What about the integrity of the contest? Rules have to be followed, right?"

"I suppose you're right though I have to wonder where that kid ran off to," Lorne said scratching his head.

When the next singer started heading toward the stage Lorne leaned over and whispered, "That's okay you really didn't miss anything. Did you?"

Miley just stared in shock at Lorne, reaching up to mess with her hair as she whispered back. "I uh...don't know what you're talking about?"

"I guess not," Lorne said with a wink.

Since Zero couldn't actually address her comments to her little sibling, as she'd dashed off too quickly, Zero turned to Hannah and said, "I thought that was pretty good, didn't y--wait. Where'd you go?"

"Phone call. Very important business." Miley nodded seriously. "You know, agent this, VMA awards this. It never ends."

"Yeh," Zero nodded. "Mum usedta let me hang up on her agent when I was little. But didn' you miss her song?"

"I could here a little from where I was at." Miley shrugged. "Not very good, is she?"

"No, I thought she wasn' bad," Zero said. "Not really my style, but, y'know."
