The music plays, the light show is even more fabulous than last week and Lorne leaps onto the stage to the delight of canned applause.

"Welcome to Music is Love! And despite the similarities I am not Randy Jackson. Dog. I am LORNE!"

More canned cheers.

"Thank you! Thank you! You're too kind. Today our theme is Punk Bubblegum in honor of our guests: Skank Zero Hopeless-Savage and Hannah Montana!"

Lorne settles down at the judges table, "C'mon kids. Show Fandom what you got."

She sighed and adjusted her sunglasses, which had little bunnies on them ~~much like the icon~~. "Fine, I'm Zero Hopeless-Savage. I'm the lead singer of Teal Dear, playing soon at a Caritas near you, also former lead singer of the Dusted Bunnies, an' I'm usually to be found in ur dormz, eatin' ur foodz an' filmin' ur mishapz. Go Gremlins!"

Demyx signed in.

Demyx really wasn't sure if he'd gotten the 'theme' right this time, but hey, might as well just go up there with confidence and sing it! He loved this song. Because Blink 182 was just fun.

...what? It's a bubblegum.

Door didn't know from punk rock until she downloaded some. When she was finished, she still didn't get why it was called punk rock music. Bubblegum? That one was a complete mystery.

Still, she knows a song that reminds her of bubblegum, and she can certainly try to sing it like the punk rock people had done.

So she screams the entirety of this into the microphone:

"Hey everyone, I'm Hannah Montana." Miley smiled and waved to everyone, actually comfortable at the moment. Wearing the wig and the makeup and dressed in her performing clothes, it was a lot easier to act the part.

"I've been singing for as long as I can remember and a few years ago a record exec overheard me and offered me a deal. The rest is history! I released my second album in November and I go on tour later this year."

Just before it was time for her to sing onstage as Miley, Hannah's phone rang.

"Hello? Oh, hi!" She turned to Lorne and Zero and whispered an excuse, getting up to go backstage. "It's my manager, I have to take this."

Finding a hiding place quickly, Miley started changing out of her Hannah clothes into plain jeans and a t-shirt. There was muffled speaking and she quickly grabbed the phone. "Sorry, Lily! Thanks for calling me. I gotta go. Tell you how everything goes later, bye!"

Miley ran onstage and gave a very squeaky and off-tune version of a Hilary Duff song.

As soon as Miley was finished she darted off the stage and back to the corner where she had dumped the Hannah wig.

Putting the wig back on and changing back into the much more flashy Hannah-clothes, Miley put the phone back to her ear and walked back towards the judging table. "...and that's final. I've got to go."

"Oh, did I miss it? That's too bad."

[zomg, done spamming myself now!]

"That's okay! I'm sure Miley would love to sing for you again," Lorne said with a slightly mischievous grin. "Oh Smiley! Smiley? Where'd you go kid?"

"Wonderful!" Lorne exclaimed applauding wildly. "And entirely appropriate for a family show."

"Ah the early days of punk and psychedelic music," Lorne said wistfully. "I'm so glad I missed them. Bravo! Excellent job!"

"Good job!" Miley grinned. "I like the song and it seems like you had fun with it."

"..." Miley blinked. "That was really...loud? You might want to pick something that doesn't have potential for major throat damage. Don't want another Ashlee problem."
