Bridge is having lunch. The tiny plastic superheroes are sitting around a pile of Skittles. Not that they can eat them, since they 1) ar plastic and 2) have helmets on, so don't even have tiny plastic mouths. Library's closed unless you work here.
There's not really a lot of evil to be found in the library, though. Unless one counts the handful pies that were formerly books that are still hanging around.
Bridge is wandering around getting ready to close the library for the day. The tiny plastic superheroes are "helping". Okay, mostly they're following Bridge around and offering their unsolicited opinions on various matters.
Yeah, *I* didn't actually forget about liberry. I just feel like death and thus slept in. So if I don't answer pings right away, I probably fell back asleep.
Tori decided to head to the library, after getting out of class. It was still technically second period, but she had gotten out a bit earlier than expected.
She was looking for a couple books on Mystical Artifacts and smiled when she saw Bridge. "Hey Bridge." Tori stopped short and stared as a few action figures ran past her. Yeah, that was weird.
"Really? Wow." Tori watched the figures disappear and reappear, fighting one another. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say that there are a miniature Conner, Kira and Ethan running around." She shook her head in awe.
"Well, they're miniature versions of the Japanese characters based on interpretations of the Power Rangers," Bridge grins. "I don't have any Hurricanger figures here, which... might be a good thing because seeing a tiny fictionalized version of yourself might be kind of weird."
"Firearms," Mel said keeping an eye on the superheroes. "Historical.. I mean modern firearms. Just something so I know what people are talking about around here."
"Marie!" Bridge waves. "Well, a bit weirded out by the toy thing, but otherwise... okay." Which wasn't entirely true because of the things he'd learned on Tuesday, but this is Bridge so he's *trying*.
"Only about fifteen years," Bridge admits. "But my reality seems to move... faster, or something, than the one most people are from. We've had colonies on other planets since 1999."
"Huh. That's definitely not where I'm from then," Mel said poking at a few books. "Weird. Just when I think I've got a handle on this place something throws me a curb ball."
"That's part of its charm," Bridge says. "Or something," he adds as he walks over to the section of the library that had information on modern werepony weaponry. "This probably has everything you need. And more. The library kind of has, like, everything *ever*."
